General Hospital (GH) spoilers & updates for Monday, May 18, tease that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will struggle to figure out who she is if she’s not an attorney. Alexis’ career is deeply intertwined with her identity – at least as far as Alexis is concerned.

However, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) won’t want Alexis looking at it that way. Alexis is still the same woman as before she was disbarred. Sam will just think Alexis has to concentrate on finding a new path. Over with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), he’ll also be looking to the future. TJ will tell Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) that now they can work on their life going forward.

Next, Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) will explain her last-minute marriage and most likely reveal a name change. In the courtroom, Nelle will look back as her husband walks in. She’ll introduce her new hubby to the judge, so it looks like blackmailed Julian Jerome (William deVry) will appear.

Afterward, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will determine that Carly Corithos (Laura Wright) already knew Nelle would pull this stunt. As Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) stands beside Michael, he’ll ask who called Carly to warn her about Nelle. Could it have been Ava Jerome (Maura West), Julian’s brother?

Since Ava’s on decent terms with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) right now, she might’ve brought Carly in the loop on Mrs. Julian Jerome. Regardless, Ava will have an unsettling encounter on Monday. Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will get flirty before he mentions his name to Ava. Once Ava realizes he’s Cyrus, she’ll instantly look unnerved and a bit disgusted.

Ava Jerome Rattled By Cyrus – General Hospital Spoilers Scoop

Cyrus is responsible for Laura Collins (Genie Francis) getting shot and the death of Trina Robinson’s (Sydney Mikayla) father. Ava certainly cares about Laura and Trina, so she won’t be pleased about this interaction with the enemy.

Meanwhile, Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will have some harsh words for Sonny. Mac Scorpio (John J. York) is too close to the truth as it is, so Jordan won’t want Sonny making things worse. Jordan will tell Sonny he needs to stay out of Mac’s investigation, but Sonny’s more focused on taking Cyrus down anyway. Sonny just has to wait until the perfect time to strike.
