Prince William’s critics are slamming the royal for his supposed ‘extreme entitlement.’ That’s because a lot of people have noticed that the future king of England and his wife, Kate Middleton, are doing less and less work with each passing day.

In fact, royal historian Tessa Dunlop recently put things in perspective during a recent interview with ITV news.

When it comes to the Prince and Princess of Wales and their “increasing laziness and entitlement,” she said, “The predominantly right wing press have pushed William and Kate up on this incredible untouchable pedestal. So, understandably, he pretty much feels he can do what he likes.”

As our loyal readers can imagine, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some even commented with, “A British Historian calling William and Kate lazy and entitled. I didn’t think I’d see the day. And she’s right. How hard would it be to undertake one public engagement a week? Including getting ready – that’s like, a whole three hours a week.”

Another critic wrote, “What about even just one engagement a fortnight, or even one a MONTH. Those are pretty cushy terms.. a handful of hours a month even. For all of those on the side of William and Kate, what reason is there that could possibly excuse them both from several hours a month?”

And then there was this comment as well: “What William wants is for him and his family to live privately in Windsor, hide behind trees and large grounds instead of living in BP when he becomes King, only attend the events they want to attend (football, tennis etc.) but still get all the benefits of being a Royal.”

“It repeatedly brings into question the purpose of the Royal family if they aren’t there to serve the public, what are they there for?”
