‘General Hospital’ Recap Friday, August 22: Molly Busts Cody, Josslyn’s Grave Danger, Kristina Blackmailed

General Hospital recap is finally in for Friday, August 22, 2025! In today’s episode, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) catches Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is in grave danger. Plus, Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) blackmails Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi). 

Michael Corinthos’ Guidance

Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) continues advising Molly about Cody. The lawyer brings up that Kristina warned her that Cody is a hustler.

However, Michael says Cody might have a troubled past but Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) considers him a friend. Michael really doesn’t think Cody is playing her.

The man suggests she spend some time with Cody instead of thinking about it.  (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

Cody Bell’s Confession

Cody is still with Ava. The stable hand warns he’s not a good person. Ava says she has ulterior motives about him, too. She says her slap was just a “forceful caress.”

Cody says he tried to exploit her conflict with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst). Ava says the only reason she’s with Ric is to drive Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) crazy.

She rants about all the Davis women. Cody raises his eyebrows at what she says about Molly, though. Ava thinks Molly is the worst of all the Davis women. 

Cody leans in for a kiss. Molly suddenly walks in and sees them together.

Nina Reeves’ Discovery

At the hospital, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) freaks out watching Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) embrace Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

After Willow goes back to work, Nina confronts her. Nina says she’s just there to see Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) family, but she’s still there for her. Willow tells her to get lost. 

Meanwhile, Ric crosses paths with Liz. They talk about Willow’s case and needing more character references. Then, Ric talks to Nina and urges her to get Willow away from Drew if she wants her kids back. 

Back to Willow, she approaches Kristina and asks for a favor. Will she testify on her behalf? Kristina refuses. Willow brings up her dead baby, which causes Kristina to explode.

Before Kristina takes off, she is confronted by Liz. The nurse reminds her that she’s made rash decisions just like Willow. Liz blackmails Kristina into helping Willow or her killer secret comes out. 

After Liz leaves, she busts Willow on the phone with Drew begging for his help. 

Lulu Spencer’s Panic

Over with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), she talks to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) about Maxie. The mayor says that Maxie always did Lulu’s nails when she was comatose.

Lulu doesn’t remember her time in the coma, but does think her visitors gave her strength.

Josslyn Jacks Danger

At the Five Poppies, Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) and Josslyn debate. Vaughn thinks they should leave. However, Joss refuses until she finds Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). 

Over on the patio, Britt spies on Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Pascal (Marc Forget) approaches Britt from behind and asks what she’s doing.

The WBS is there, but it’s being handled. While Jason makes plans with Greta (actor unknown), Joss continues spying from afar. 

Back in Port Charles, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) is going to fix Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) garbage disposal at Bobbie’s. They talk about Maxie and then Michael. She brings up missing Josslyn. 

When Josslyn returns to her room, Vaughn is gone. Pascal appears with a gun. Meanwhile, Britt shows up at Jason’s door.
