The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that three dark passions could lead to heartache in Genoa City. There are several characters pining for forbidden love, and that spells disaster on daytime!

1) Daniel & Tessa

Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) fell for his guitar teacher Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) faster than you can say arpeggio. One of them is married so the friction is about to intensify in the coming days.

Daniel lost his wife Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) to a gruesome murder but Tessa is helping him heal through music.

Tessa is also in a sad place since her wife Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) dumped her for her “own good.” Don’t you hate when rude people blame you for the misery they cause?

Mariah and Tessa have a child and they still love each other. But in the worst played plot of the year on Y&R, fans are being strung along with a lame story about Mariah maybe/maybe not murdering a man on a drunken bender. Do you care at this point or would you rather see Tessa find happiness with Daniel?

2) Billy & Sally

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is an eternal man-child, Genoa City’s own Peter Pan. He refuses to grow up although he constantly harps about turning over a new leaf and becoming a new man.

His stumbling block at the moment is the need to reacquire Chancellor Industries. He thought he had it all figured out when he put his boo, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), in charge of Abbott Communications but we see fallout down the road.

How long will Sally be content to run a company that her boyfriend gave her in lieu of forging a real relationship? We predict it won’t be long before the waves start crashing down. What do you think?

3) Cane & Lily

Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) fancies himself a big-time mogul and swears he built his empire to impress his ex, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). The trouble with that is, Lily couldn’t care less about his little pastime.

In fact, his fixation on business has only led to cultivating many enemies who would love to see him taken down. Can he be obsessed with his moguldom and Lily at the same time without repercussions?

We wouldn’t be surprised if his corporate takeover plans leave Lily cold, and a possible reunion impossible.
