Meghan Markle Was Once Called ‘Trailer Trash’ By Her Critics

British Royal News says that this isn’t looking good for the British press at all. Soon after both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hinted in their Netflix docuseries Harry and Meghan that they felt bullied by both the royal family and the press, many old clips of the royal rota making nasty statements about the Duchess of Sussex have resurfaced again on social media.

In fact, one royal correspondent went as far as to call Meghan “five clips up from trailer trash.” Here’s what you need to know.

In Harry and Meghan, the Duke of Sussex said that the royal family often played a dirty game with the British press. He suggested that the royals planted negative stories about his wife to the media in order to bury unfavorable stories about themselves.

He also suggested that there were some people from his family that were jealous of all the attention Meghan was getting with her newfound popularity.

Harry even said, “William and I both saw what happened in our dad’s office and we made an agreement that we would never let that happen to our office.”

The Duchess of Sussex Skewered By Her Critics

“I would far rather get destroyed in the press than play along with this game or business of trading and to see my brother’s office doing the same thing that we promised the two of us would never, ever drWo, that was heartbreaking.”

Well, it seems like the royal rota sure has some explaining to do as Vanity Fair editor appeared on MSNBC back in 2020 and said that Meghan was “five clicks up from trailer trash.”

Many critics have responded to her comments with, “She felt emboldened to use such language because the dehumanization of Meghan was par for the course in the UK,” along with, “The smugness. The privilege. The confidence this person displayed denigrating an American to an American and feeling secure that this is acceptable. Totally unacceptable.”

Another critic wrote, “Oh my five clicks from the trailer trash . The level of disrespect. What am finding hard to comprehend is the level of vitriol throw at Meghan. It’s seems very personal to these people . Was Prince Harry supposed to stay a bachelor or did they expect him to marry their daughters?”
