General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Cain’s Shooting – Shadowy Scenes Spark New Suspect Theory

General Hospital spoilers suggest that Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting during the Tuesday, September 2 episode has fans buzzing. While the preview earlier that day hinted at 6 potential suspects, after watching the cut-throat congressman get shot twice, a new fan theory about “Who Shot Drew Cain” is circulating.
NOT The Usual Suspects
The GH promo video for the week of September 2-5 seemed to suggest that there were 6 possible suspects in Drew’s shooting: Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).
Still, fans know any good ‘who dun it’ soap storyline always has the culprit being someone completely unexpected. Plus, the shadowy shooting scenes seem to indicate that none of the above could be the shooter.
After all, the only person who could handle a gun of that caliber is Sonny or maybe Michael. But there seem to be other theories that are popping up from fans on social media.
A Skilled Shooter
The gun used, plus the aim of the shot, seems to indicate that whoever shot Drew knew their way around it.
As fans know, WSB agent Colette Moreau (Mercedes Lopez Renard) is compromised, so could she have shot Drew as a favor for Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota)? Then again, maybe Jenz took matters into his own hands and did the job himself!
Speaking of WSB shadiness, could Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) be thrown into the suspect list? It’s hard to think of a motive as to why he’d risk things by offing Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) ex, but as the story unravels, one may pop up.
Finally, going back to the idea that Jenz saw Drew as a liability and wanted him ‘gone’, could his ‘mystery partner’ be behind the congressman’s shooting?
Without knowing who the man is and what he’s really up to, his big identity reveal could explain why he’s the shooter and his motivation.

Considering Jacinda just happened to show up back in town the same night, I think she did it. But I’m not sure her motive. Unless she rells Nina and Portia she did it for them, in order to get more money.
