Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that a power outage is coming in Salem. When the lights go out in town, that means trouble and possible romance could follow. Let’s talk about what could happen this time.

When the Lights Go Out in Salem

Let’s start off with the power outage itself. Salem has been through a few of these in the past several years. During one power outage, Orpheus (George Del Hoyo) and Clyde Weston (James Read) wreaked havoc on the town. 

So, what could happen this time? Well, we have three possibilities to discuss.

Jaw-Dropping Secrets Spill

One possibility is that the city-wide power outage causes some people to get trapped together. This could have some unexpected characters bonding. Going a step further, perhaps there will be some secrets spilt and confessions told.

The power outage might even have Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) recalling the night she shot EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). 

Forbidden Passion Erupts

On the side of passion, unexpected characters could do more than bond. There could be some major temptations and sinful acts. Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) could land in too-close quarters.

Even if they don’t cheat on Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Chanel Dupree-DiMera (Raven Bowens), Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) will certainly make everyone think something inappropriate is going on.

If Tate believes that Holly cheated, then he could end up back with Sophia.

There is also the chance that the power outage might reunite Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey). 

There could also be some sparks for Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu). Another possibility is that Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) get trapped together once again.

As for Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), fans can count on her to get very naughty and use the power outage to her advantage.

It’s not clear if that is romantically or having to do with the hospital plans, or perhaps it’s a combination of both.

Dangerous Puzzles

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that the Salem outage could also open the door to some mysterious puzzles to solve.

There has been a focus on EJ’s plans for the hospital. While EJ talked to Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) about a free clinic, he’s also setting up a secret lab for experiments.

There is also Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) secret. While she is covering up that she wrote the novel, it seems the blackout could expose that secret.
