What Happened To Patrick Drake On General Hospital?

ABC General Hospital updates and spoilers reveal that fans of the ABC sudser are wondering what happened to Patrick Drake on General Hospital. Patrick Drake was played by Jason Thompson who now plays Billy Abbott on CBS’s The Young and the Restless.

He played Patrick on General Hospital: Night Shift as well and one was half of Scrubs, the couple composed of Patrick and wife Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough).

General Hospital Spoilers – Patrick Drake is the son of Noah Drake

Patrick debuted in 2005. In 2015, it was announced that the character was leaving and was last seen in 2016.

Patrick was born in 1976, the son of GH doc Noah Drake (Rick Springfield) and Mattie Drake. When his mother had an accident his father operated on her and she died on the OR table. After that, father and son became estranged.

Patrick Drake eventually came to work at GH just like his dad

Patrick Drake came to Port Charles to operate on Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). He soon begins dating Robin but has is a notorious flirt at the same time. Like Robin, Patrick is exposed to HIV. While waiting for blood testing to finish, the two grow closer.

Robin discovers she’s pregnant after a one night stand but Patrick thinks Robin had gone to a sperm bank. Later Robin goes into labor when they are set to marry.

Then, Patrick’s ex-girlfriend from college, Lisa Niles (Brianna Brown), appears and makes a play for Patrick. When Robin travels to Africa for work, Patrick sleeps with Lisa.

Later, Robin is presumed dead in an explosion at the hospital lab. Patrick is friendly to nursing student Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo), and dates Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
At his wedding to Sabrina, Robin shows up! They eventually reunite.

Robin Scorpio left her family to protect them

Later, Robin is forced to leave her family because the Cassadines forced her to. Eventually, Patrick forgave her and they reunite once again. At this time they remarried and left Port Charles together to get a clean start away from the town that had caused them such heartache.

They continue to live and work in San Francisco with their daughter. Robin occasionally returns to Port Charles, as does daughter Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer). The couple welcomed a son named Noah Scorpio-Drake, in July of 2017.
