Days of Our Lives Spoilers Thursday, May 21: Sonny’s Hateful Goodbye to Evan – Xander Kicked Out of Titan – Gabi Fumes Over Setup

NBC Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers & updates for Thursday, May 21, tease that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will get updates on the whole story of Maggie Kiriakis’ (Suzanne Rogers) suicide attempt and how Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) came to her rescue. Xander just mentioned that he saved Maggie after she tried to take her own life, so Sarah will certainly want to know all the details.

Once Xander brings Sarah up to speed, he’ll hope that’ll be enough to secure another chance with her. Despite Xander’s desperate plea, Sarah will shut him down once again. She’ll be thankful that Xander prevented Maggie’s death, but that doesn’t change the fact that Xander lied to Sarah and caused so much pain with this baby switch.

Now it’s Xander’s turn to feel some pain – and he’s definitely feeling it through his broken heart. More suffering is on the way once Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) goes along with Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) demands. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Victor will fire Xander from the CEO position, so Xander’s day will go from bad to worse! He’ll learn that Brady’s taking back the throne, so that’ll leave Xander at rock bottom.

Next, Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) will visit Stateville with a goal in mind. Days spoilers say Sonny will want one last confrontation with Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly). DOOL fans know Orpheus (George DelHoyo) was responsible for the crash that killed Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) and Sarah’s baby. Evan was part of Maggie’s kidnapping that night and helped Orpheus hide the truth.

Of course, Sonny’s in the loop on the actual story now, but it was a long and winding road to get here. Before Maggie believed she was to blame, it was Will Horton (Chandler Massey) who was stuck feeling guilty behind bars. Evan consoled Sonny when he was on the verge of divorce – all while knowing Orpheus took his eyes off the road and caused the accident.

Sonny will naturally find that despicable, especially since Evan tried to lock in his own future with him. Days spoilers say Sonny will want Evan to be honest for once, so we’ll see if Evan admits Zoey Burge’s (Alyshia Ochse) story is what really happened.

Evan will likely assure Sonny that his feelings were genuine, but that won’t matter to Sonny at this point. This visit will be about closing the door on Sonny’s terrible chapter with Evan. He’ll let Evan know he hates him before he takes off. Days of Our Lives spoilers say this will be Brock Kelly’s last airdate as Evan, so tune in and watch him bid Sonny farewell.

Maggie will also get a visit in the infirmary on Thursday. A relieved Sarah will hug her mom as they both express their joy of Maggie surviving her suicide attempt. Brady will also pop in and make sure Maggie knows she’s loved.

Gabi Hernandez Arrested – NBC Days Soap Spoilers

Back at the hospital, Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) will feel like there has to be some mistake. The syringe Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) brought in was analyzed by the lab, which brought some stunning results. Gabi was floored to learn that syringe contained the same drug that was found in Abigail DiMera’s (Kate Mansi) system.

Days spoilers say Lani Price (Sal Stowers) will slap handcuffs on Gabi and arrest her, so that’ll put Gabi in the Salem PD interrogation room soon. Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) will land there as well, so Gabi will confront him about setting her up. Their conversation will eventually move to Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) since Gabi still doesn’t know if her husband survived or not.

It seems Dr. Rolf will at least give Gabi a hopeful hint, so she’ll cling to that in the weeks ahead. Days of Our Lives spoilers say some hot drama’s cooking on the NBC soap.
