Beatrice was set to marry this month but her lavish and traditional royal wedding was postponed due to coronavirus. Compounding that huge disappointment, Beatrice will not even be able to spend what would have been her wedding day with her mom Sarah Ferguson and sister Princess Eugenie.

While the coronavirus pandemic is still raging, Beatrice and Edoardo have yet to announce a new wedding date.

A source told People last month, “There are no plans to switch venues or hold a bigger wedding. They aren’t even thinking about their wedding at this time. There will come a time to rearrange, but that’s not yet.”

In fact, the source claims that “The invitations were never actually sent out.”

Why Can’t Beatrice Be With Her Mom And Sister On What Should Have Been Her Wedding DDay?

At this time Beatrice is with her fiancé Edoardo and his mother, Nikki Shale; they are isolating in Shale’s mansion in Chipping Norton.

Until recently it was believed the pair were spending lockdown at St James’s Palace, but Beatrice’s mother Sarah Ferguson has confirmed that they are with Edo’s mother.

Fergie said on Darlton Harris’s City Island podcast, “It’s sad for me that Beatrice, she was going to get married next week, but they postponed the wedding. Edo and Beatrice have been living with her future mother-in-law who is lovely. A great friend of mine.”

“But I’m missing my other daughter but it’s just like everybody else, we are just the same family like everybody else.”

Beatrice Is Close With Mother Fergie And Little Sister Princess Eugenie

Fergie and daughter Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack are spending lockdown together at Prince Andrew’s home. According to Fergie, Eugenie moved in ahead of lockdown.

Beatrice is extremely close with her mother and sister so it is thought that it will be a heartbreaking time for her to be apart from them in the days which would have been full of wedding plans and joy. Beatrice was set to marry this coming Friday.
