We’ve seen her on endless video calls, she’s raising three kids and now homeschooling them, is apparently in training all ready for the day she becomes queen consort, and she’s in isolation meaning no breaking away for even an hour to herself. So it’s no wonder that poor Kate Middleton, “feels exhausted and trapped” over her “enormous” pile of work according to a source speaking to Tatler magazine.
The Cambridges have taken on extra duties since Harry and Meghan split for America
The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William have made a ton of virtual appearances during the coronavirus crisis as they stay isolated in Anmer Hall in Norfolk with their three children, Prince George, six, Princess Charlotte, five, and Prince Louis, two.
The anonymous friend also revealed that after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry quit as royals both William and Kate have had to expand their duties.
Is Kate Middleton taking on too much?
Kate is reportedly more than upset over her larger workload due to the drastic departure of Harry and Meghan who officially ditched their royal duties in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic. For their part, Heghan is suffering through these hard times with a sunlit staycation in Tyler Perry’s $18 million Cali mansion.
A friend of the Cambridges told Tatler magazine. “William and Catherine really wanted to be hands-on parents and the Sussexes have effectively thrown their three children under a bus.”
Kate Middleton is reportedly exhausted by her huge workload
The insider called out Meghan and Harry for being selfish in their behavior, saying that their decision to abandon the country and their family will profoundly impact the Cambridge’s.
Another friend said, “Kate is furious about the larger workload. Of course she’s smiling and dressing appropriately but she doesn’t want this. She’s working as hard as a top CEO, who has to be wheeled out all the time, without the benefits of boundaries and plenty of holidays.”

Prince William and Kate have led the royal family’s efforts to support the nation
One thing is clear, and that is that while the pandemic decimates the world, experts have praised William and Kate in their efforts to support the nation.
Royal watcher Katie Nicholl told ET, “We’re seeing them letting their guard down and that is a result of what we are going through.” She also stated that the couple is “stepping up to the plate” in the ongoing turbulent times.
“It’s uplifting for Britain,” she said, “particularly for royalists, to see what the future of the royal family is going to look like. The royal family has gone to great lengths not to be seen to be aloof or distant or unrelatable.”
