General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Stupid Or Crazy Like A Fox For Rehiring Nathan?

General Hospital Spoilers: Is Dante Stupid Or Crazy Like A Fox For Rehiring Nathan?General Hospital (GH) spoilers show that fans were left gobsmacked when the PCPD was seriously compromised on the November 11, 2025 episode.

That’s when acting commissioner Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) handed over a gun and badge to spooky Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).

How is that even legal, yet alone sane? Dante did not deputize Nathan, as maybe he would be allowed to do, even though that is still sketchy as heck.

No, Dante “rehired” former cop Nathan who has been dead for the last seven years. Make it make sense.

What the Heck is Dante Thinking?

Actual commish Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) herself told Nathan that she is not ready to rehire him. Too many questions—like what has he been doing while presumed dead? Nathan has no idea. So, is this the person the PCPD wants to give a weapon and badge to?

The premise is that Anna is on a WSB mission, Dante was made acting commish, and in turn he thinks it’s wise to put Nathan back on the force.

Nathan Gets his Badge Back

Yes, Dante told Nathan that his psych eval was kosher, but what about his trigger finger? Or his cognitive ability? Oh well, Dante is in charge and what could go wrong?

Nathan is partnered with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), the man who replaced Nathan as Dante’s partner.

Specifically, Dante wants Nathan to keep an eye on Chase since he’s too close to Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) case.

General Hospital Goes All Out

But wait, there’s more! Willow, Nathan’s niece, has been suddenly released from Pentonville. Are these two outrageous developments coincidental?

What if Dante knows exactly what he’s doing? He could be testing Nathan, or he may tell Chase to keep his eye on Nathan.

What Happens Next in PC?

We’ll have to wait to see what happens next, but for now we know that Willow witnesses Wiley Quartermaine (Viron Weaver) at dinner with Michael Quartermaine (Rory Gibson) and his escort/girlfriend Jacinda (Paige Herschell).

This can’t end well. We predict one of two things happens as a result of Nathan’s reinstatement: he shows his hand as a bad guy, or he saves the day thus proving once and for all that he really is fit as a fiddle.

Tell us GH fans, which of these two scenarios make more sense to you?

“Spooky” Nathan? I realize he is probably not who (or what) he says he is, and is somehow involved with Sidwell, and Faison’s research, but so far, he has done NOTHING to indicate he’s anything more than the same, boring, honest to a fault, guy he’s always been. Nothing sketchy or spooky in any way.
