Hallmark Channel spoilers and updates reveal Paul Campbell, Tyler Hynes, and Andrew Walker are returning to Hallmark for a delightful holiday adventure, having already collaborated on two previous occasions.
Their third film together, titled Three Wisest Men, promises to be their most hilarious offering to date-it also marks a significant moment as we witness the Brenner brothers growing up!
The Brenner Brothers Are Experiencing Major Life Changes
The siblings are celebrating significant life events this time, coinciding with their mother, Barbara Brenner (Margaret Colin), making the decision to sell their childhood home.
It’s a pivotal moment for everyone to transition into adulthood, and both Campbell and Hynes shared their thoughts on these transformations with Soaps.com recently.
Hynes, who portrays Taylor Brenner in the film, expressed, “It felt like the characters had matured and grown in such a way.”
He continued, “…It feels reflective of what we’re doing; every movie is a little bit like art imitating life.” Meanwhile, Campbell, who takes on the role of Stephan Brenner and co-wrote all three films alongside Kimberly Sustad, mentioned that the changes the brothers are experiencing.
The Trilogy Completed
He talked about different changes, like new job opportunities in a different city, the happy arrival of babies, and the wonderful journey of marriage. All these are important for experiencing “the joy of watching these brothers” grow and evolve.
“The best times we had were while writing for Tyler Brenner, as he really takes a big step in this film regarding his character growth,” Campbell shares. “It’s truly thrilling to see him finally grow up a little.” There seems to be a feeling of completion to the trilogy of films; “Three Wise Men and a Baby” in 2022 and the successful launch of “Three Wise Men and a Boy” in 2024.
What’s Ahead?
While the writers have expertly wrapped up the storylines of the Brenner brothers, could there be more films coming soon? “We are constantly attuned to the needs and desires of our audience-crafting these films presents its own set of challenges, especially given the limitations we face. However, Paul, Kim, Andrew, and I share a bond that will last a lifetime, and we are eager to collaborate for as long as we can,” Hynes expresses with a sense of caution.
“The key is to discover the most engaging, enjoyable, and thrilling way to present this to our audience.” He acknowledges that the Three Wisest Men “does seem to have a somewhat definitive conclusion,” but he is ultimately leaving the decision in the hands of the devoted Hallmark fans.
Whatever The Fans Want Is What They Want
“Well, whatever you all desire,” Hynes discloses; “Once more, whatever the audience craves, if they express their opinions loudly enough, we are always ready to accommodate. Just because the Christmas movie trilogy is completed, it doesn’t mean there couldn’t be more similar movies-after all there’s Thanksgiving, Easter, and Halloween! So, whatever that may be, we are here to support it.”
The Brenner brothers certainly won’t remain silent for too long if the audience has anything to say about it; the premiere of Three Wisest Men is set for Saturday, November 15, at 8/7c on Hallmark, and it will be available for streaming the following day on Hallmark.
