The Young And The Restless: Sally Spectra Gets A Romantic Blast From The Past?

Sally Spectra arrived on The Young and the Restless in 2020 and it’s hard to imagine Genoa City without Courtney Hope.  But, five years ago she was on The Bold and the Beautiful and Sally Spectra was in love with the Spencer Brothers, not the Newman Brothers.

Sally Spectra’s Past On Bold And Beautiful

Courtney Hope started her soap career on The Bold and the Beautiful, she debuted as Sally Spectra in 2017.  The soap’s attempt to bring back the Spectra Family was a dud, but Courtney Hope had turned in to a fan fave and stuck around for a few years. 

Sally was flip-flopping between Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and his brother Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks), until she left Los Angeles in 2020 and relocated to Genoa City (The Young and the Restless).

Hope recently sat down with She Knows Soaps, and she had a lot to say about her time on Bold.  In fact, she brought up the fact that Sally and Wyatt never really got any closure, and confessed she hoped the characters would reunite some day. 

The actress pondered, “Then I was thinking about Sally, and I was like, ‘I wonder if Sally ever talks to Wyatt (Darin Brooks)?’ He said, ‘We need some time apart. You just need to go regroup.  And I thought, ‘I wonder if I ever regrouped and got back in touch, you know?’”

Is Darin Brooks Making A Comeback

Darin Brooks hasn’t been on Bold and Beautiful for a few years now, Wyatt Spencer has since been written off the soap opera. 

However, rumors have been hinting that Darin was in talks with The Young and the Restless.  So, there’s a chance Courtney Hope’s wishes could come true.
