No matter what she does or what she says (or doesn’t say), it seems like she is going to get criticized for it anyway. This time around Meghan Markle is getting slammed for ignoring King Charles on his birthday.

And while there might have been a chance that she could have reached out to him privately on his very special day, many royalists are upset that she didn’t wish her father-in-law a happy birthday on social media, as if that really even matters anymore.

In fact, some people are calling it a direct snub just because the Duchess of Sussex chose not to write anything about the King of England on her Instagram account. Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill, right?

Of course, many royalists on both sides of the aisle had a lot to say about the matter.

Some even commented with, “Meghan’s birthday was in August , where was her birthday greeting from Chuck? These people really get on my last nerve.”

Another critic of the royal family wrote, “What’s funny is that if Meghan were to wish Charles a happy birthday, in some alternate universe where Charles hadn’t actively tried to harm her family, you know she would make it so cute and it would get so much attention.”

“Like he wishes he could get one, lol. And in that reality, William and Kate would be upping their game to send out the cuter birthday wishes and would do more than the bare minimum of what they’re doing now.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Oh, isn’t there a family policy that you only acknowledge milestone birthdays on the internet? Lmao. I’m sure she sent the same wishes he sent her.”

So far the Duchess of Sussex herself has not made any comments about the matter although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space for more.
