‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers Weekly Update Nov 24-28: ‘Swarla’ Ends, Carl Manipulates, Fiz Lies

Coronation Street spoilers and updates tease Carla Connor (Alison King) breaks up with Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers),  while Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) manipulates his sister. Plus, Fiz Dobbs (Jennie McAlpine) lies, Sarah Platt’s (Tina O’Brien) actions have consequences, and Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) faints!

Becky Sets Her Sights On Costello’s Daughter

Becky Swain (Amy Cudden) sets her sights on DI Costello’s (Daon Broni) daughter before attempting to re-establish her presence at Lisa’s table.

Becky has received a funeral wreath, which sends Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) into a panic. She talks to Costello, expressing her determination to find out who is targeting her.

At the precinct, she snaps some pictures of his daughter and sends them along. He’s horrified and calls her, not realizing that Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) is eavesdropping from outside the office door.

‘Swarla’ Ends

Later, aware that Lisa is having lunch with Carla, Becky devises her next move, drinking  some alcohol and confides in her estranged wife that she’s been drinking to cope with losing everything. Lisa feels sorry for her and takes her to No. 6 to help her sober up.

When Carla comes home, she finds Becky coming down the stairs in Lisa’s bathrobe after a shower, feeling hurt that Becky stood her up; angry, she tells Becky to leave the house.

The following day, Kit worries when Costello doesn’t show up for work-he later finds out that Costello has been attacked and suggests to Lisa that Becky could be behind it. Carla, heartbroken, decides to end their relationship, leaving Lisa in shock.

Carl Manipulates

Meanwhile, Carl intensifies his manipulation of Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney), toying with Debbie, marking an invoice from Preston’s Petals as ‘paid’ and then complicating things between his sister and Tracy McDonald (Kate Ford).

He informs the florist that he will handle the situation, claiming it was clearly an oversight on Debbie’s part. Debbie is furious, and in tears, she confides in Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) that her symptoms are getting worse-he advises her to consider quitting her job.

The following day, Carl alters the password on the accounting system and reminds Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) that the finances are now under his control. Debbie receives an email confirming her speaking engagement at the hotel.

Fiz Lies

After Tyrone Dobbs’ (Alan Halsall) accident, Fiz is left to support their whole family both financially and emotionally. Feeling worn out, she informs him that Cilla Battersby-Brown (Wendi Peters) is scheduled for surgery and she will need to care for her.

With no other options available, Ty reassures her that he can handle things and encourages her to go.

Later, Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney)  brings him to his physiotherapy appointment, while Chesney Winter-Brown (Sam Aston) shows up at the hotel with pizzas for Debbie’s choir practice. He is surprised to see Fiz at the reception – not visiting their mother after all.

Sarah’s Behavior Has Consequences For Todd

Sarah’s actions greatly affect Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce). Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) deceives Todd by claiming he hasn’t heard from Pete Lang (Andrew Hayden-Smith), but Sarah later catches him getting into his van.

She demands an explanation, and Theo discloses that they have signed a contract and he intends to surprise Todd. When Pete compares Sarah to an attack dog, she confronts the men – and Todd notices them. He quickly pulls her away, and Theo is not pleased.

Todd Is Surprised At Theo’s Actions

After accusing Theo of pressuring him into running a half marathon, Todd is surprised when his partner presents a full-length mirror, explaining it’s a good way to monitor his physique.

Later, James Bailey (Jason Callender) delivers some fitness equipment for Todd and insists on demonstrating how to use it. Theo observes, annoyed, and accuses Todd of having a crush on James.

Todd reassures him that it’s not the case, but an angry Theo grabs him and expresses his frustration. Again, Theo is abusive to Todd.

Summer Faints

Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) spends the night with Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) at Kevin Webster’s (Michael Le Vell) makeshift pub in the living room of No. 13. He tells the guys that Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) has invited him to the mental health unit.

During their conversation, Asha shares that she wants to come home, but she is anxious about the lack of support from her friends. Dev scolds Summer, Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher), and Amy Barlow (Elle Mullvaney) for leaving her behind, saying that Asha is considering returning home because of this.

The following day, Nina and Amy go to see her;  Summer arrives late, and as she steps into the room, she grabs the door frame and faints-will Summer be alright?
