General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny’s Bold Move Against Justine- Is Rocco Coming Home For Thanksgiving?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will confront ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) at some point this week. Can he guarantee that his grandson Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) will return home to his family in time for Thanksgiving?

Rocco Is Currently In Juvenile Detention Awaiting  A Hearing

The ABC soap has just released its promo for the week of November 24.  It features a scene that hints at upcoming drama for the teen, who is currently in prison for a crime he didn’t actually commit.

Rocco should have received a minor punishment for breaking into PCU Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) lab, however, Dalton framed him for vandalizing the lab, resulting in a much harsher penalty. Complicating things further is the fact that Dalton is dead, which Sonny is aware of, but Justine is not.

In this week’s GH preview, there’s a scene where Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) visits Rocco in prison. The young man appears worn out and hopeless as he asks Dante if he believes he will be home for Thanksgiving.

Dante Doesn’t Answer Rocco

Dante remains silent, and it seems that Dalton’s “disappearance” might complicate Rocco’s case. Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) have agreed to testify for Rocco.

They were both hiding in the lab when Dalton caught Rocco, so they can confirm that Rocco didn’t damage any property there.

However, since the PCPD will learn about Dalton’s disappearance soon, Rocco’s situation could go in two directions.

It could become more complicated, as Dalton won’t be able to counter Charlotte and Danny’s testimonies, or Rocco might be cleared of the charges, since it will appear suspicious Dalton is missing.

Sonny Threatens Justine To Get Rocco Out Of Detention

Shortly after the Rocco/Dante scene in the preview, the next clip features a close-up of Justine looking serious as Sonny shouts, “Get him out of there, or I will!” Rocco and Dante desperately want Rocco to be released and back home. With Thanksgiving coming up this week, the urgency is even greater.

Sonny is already angry with Justine for locking up Rocco with little evidence, as she only saw photos of Dalton’s lab, and the police didn’t do their own investigation. Therefore, he’ll be furious at the thought that Rocco might miss Thanksgiving because of her negligence.

Sonny Feels Betrayed

Sonny sees this as a betrayal-doing your job is one thing; ignoring justice is another; will Justine heed Sonny’s threat and work hard to free Rocco, or will Sonny take action himself?

It’s hard to believe Sonny would break Rocco out of jail due to serious consequences, but his ego might cloud his judgment. It’s uncertain if Justine has real feelings for Sonny or if she’s getting close to gather information for a case.

Sending Port Charles’ Teflon Don to jail would boost her DA resume, so Justine might take Sonny’s threat seriously, fearing it could undo the trust and loyalty she’s built with him. Will Justine get Rocco released before the holiday to save her “friendship” with Sonny?
