When Calls The Heart’s Erin Krakow And Ben Rosenbaum Update Fans With Best News Ever

Some major news from Hallmark Channel’s When Calls the Heart (WCTH) co-stars and real-life couple, Erin Krakow (Elizabeth Thatcher) and Ben Rosenbaum (Mike Hickam)! The couple recently hopped on social media to share an important announcement.

Krakow and Rosenbaum shared a heartwarming post on Instagram, announcing that they are having a baby.

The joint post was uploaded a day before the American Thanksgiving, with photos of the twosome holding their dog, Willoughby (who was donning a “Big Brother” T-shirt), along with sonogram pics. The caption read: “So much to be grateful for!!!”.

Krakow adopted Willoughby in January 2023 from an animal rescue and is surely excited about the baby that is set to arrive in the family home!

Fans of the couple chimed in the comment sections, along with some Hallmark friends. Former Hallmark star and Full House alum, now with the Great American Family network, Candace Cameron commented with, “Congratulations!!!!” Meanwhile fellow Hallmark Channel star, Lacey Chabert wrote, “So thrilled for you!”

Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum’s Romance

Krakow and Rosenbaum went public with their romance in February 2024 and by June 2025, the two got married. The couple is now expecting their first child.

There’s got to be baby fever on the WCTH set, as fellow co-stars Kevin McGarry (Nathan Grant) and Kayla Wallace (Fiona Miller), also recently announced that they were expecting their first baby. Season 14 filming should prove to be very interesting!

With that said, Season 13 of When Calls the Heart is slated to debut on Sunday, January 4, 8 p.m. ET, on the Hallmark Channel, and will be available for streaming the next day on Hallmark Plus.
