Prince Harry Competes With Princess Anne For Attention?

Recently, in an opinion piece, a royal commentator suggested that irrelevance chiefly characterizes Prince Harry’s public image. In fact, he argued that the Duke of Sussex has been sidelined and is just a background figure  these days.

Running Out Of Family Support

Neil Sean, a royal expert, slammed Prince Harry with some rather cutting words on his Daily News Headlines vlog on Monday evening. Well, there wasn’t much that was complimentary as he opined that Harry’s “burning through family members at the rate of knots.” 

He claimed that one of the events where Harry spoke was so poorly attended that organisers had to get “seat fillers” to make up for the empty seats. Sean went on to liken watching Harry to “seeing the fat tattooed lady at the circus.” Like OUCH!

The Public Are Tired 

Well, having said that, Sean talked about how the prince lost the interest of the general public. Sean stressed that people don’t want “to hear and listen to rich people moaning” anymore, particularly when coming from a person with “16 bathrooms.”

As an aside, it seems a bit ironic really. After all, clearly, they do want to listen to the commentator or he would, presumably, stop bashing William’s brother. Besides that, Sean also pointed out differences between Harry’s behavior and that of the royals who work for the crown.

Once again, he returned to a visit that he did to the Ukraine after he met with King Charles in London. In fact, Sean alleged that Harry made contact with the media, but achieved very little. On the contrary, when Princess Anne visited later with “no fuss, no drama” she landed a meeting with the president. Sean claimed that it made Prince Harry “blow a gasket.”

No Longer Important?

Allegedly, he felt furious with his aunt’s success because he hadn’t garnered the same attention. The reason for that, the royal commentator felt, was because Prince Harry isn’t much more than “a micro celebrity married to a former soap actress at best.”

Public fascination with Meghan Markle and Harry ditching the royal family for a normal life in Montecito simply lost its flair, allegedly. And, notably, if it happened, perhaps Princess Anne is the last person he should be taking aim at. Highly respected in the UK, she’s known for a lack of tolerance for childish outbursts.

Viewers React

In the comments section, a lot of royal family watchers agreed that Harry certainly seems to have lost his fascination for the public. One of them opined, “we are all sick and tired of Harry and Meghan’s whinging, and their lies too.”
