General Hospital spoilers say that this would certainly be an interesting pairing if it were to happen. There’s a lot of speculation suggesting that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) might hook up with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) now that he’s in Port Charles again.
General Hospital Spoilers: Will Carly And Valentin Hook Up?
Not only that, but a lot of people can’t help but wonder if Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) would get involved and sue Carly for complete custody of their daughter, Donna. The possibility would certainly be there.
After all, Sonny is not too keen on Valentin and doesn’t want any of his loved ones to be around him. And who can blame him? Clearly, the internet had a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some fans of the soap even commented with, “Nobody wants to be paired with Carly, it’s character suicide unless you’re Sonny. I for one like Valentin so I hope and don’t think this’ll happen. Ps. he shares a kid with her cousin so nah.”

“If anything I would like for Lulu to stop being so accusatory toward Valentin and maybe they could explore something romantic there, it would be surprising but interesting. They’ve never tried it.”
Another critic wrote, “Carly and Valentin would cause so much great soapy drama. It would put a strain on Lulu and Carly’s friendship. Sonny and Jason would hate it.”
“Brennan would be truly apocalyptic. Nina would be so jealous and Carly would LOVE that. There’s so much potential for the ripples to create drama all over the place, and soaps NEED drama.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I would be intrigued by a pairing, but I’m far too tired of custody battles on GH to actually want it. Unlikely partners in crime, that’s enough for now.”

Gross. Valentine makes me gag, and I get so tired of Carly in every storyline! So, yeah, put them together to keep them both away from any other potential partners.

They’re grasping at straws or throwing spit balls against the wall and seeing what sticks
Writers you better not pair Carly with Valentine that’s just so missed up don’t be stupid you have created enough terrible story lines. I can’t even watch now because you chose to keep drew on. Seriously enough is enough. God get new writers to bring back the real GH the way it was so long ago, it may have been drama but good drama or do you not know how to write fans are sick of the way story lines drag out so long and the sick twisted bringing back dead ppl. That’s just sick what’s wrong with you guys doing insane crazy stories that no one likes.
Personally I don’t see the need for a Carly/Valentine pairing. Carly hasn’t even resolved her relationship with Brennan, and even though bad from time to time, I feel she would be better off with Val, but she really doesn’t need either. Allow Val to get together with Anna if he has to be paired and when all is resolved, allow Carly to go solo.
