All it takes is one phone call. Thomas Markle has made it pretty clear that he wants just one thing from his estranged daughter, Meghan Markle.

The former General Hospital lighting director has said that he wants the Duchess of Sussex to pick up the phone and call him just so he could finally meet his two royal grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, just one time before he dies.

Thomas is currently at a hospital in the Philippines, where he underwent an emergency situation. He had to have his leg amputated in a life or death situation.

It was reported earlier in the week that Meghan had reached out to father in the hopes that they could patch things up between them before it was too late.

But Meghan’s half sister Samantha Markle says there’s no truth to the reports that say the Duchess of Sussex reached out to their father in the Philippines because it’s simply untrue. She even called Meghan ‘Medusa’ and said the reports were nothing more than “PR bullsh**.”

What’s Really Going On Between Thomas Markle and Samantha Markle?

One source from the hospital that Thomas is staying at even added, “Mr Markle is a VIP patient. Of course, we all know who he is. “If Meghan or anyone connected with her had called here, we would have known. It is a big hospital by Filipino standards but we all know each other and we all talk.”

The insider also said, “We were all confused when we saw the story that the duchess had reached out to her dad. As far as we are aware it didn’t happen. We would love to see the duchess here in the Philippines!”

Now, whether or not Thomas Markle actually gets to see his two grandchildren before he dies remains to be seen.

So far the Duchess of Sussex herself has not made any comments about the matter although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space for more.
