General Hospital Spoilers Tuesday, June 2: Sonny’s Pill Bottle Discovery, Wants Morgan Truth – Jake’s Deadly Chimera Trick Plans

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, June 2, tease that the ABC soap will deliver a thrilling Nurses Ball encore. GH’s latest throwback is an episode that first aired back on May 23, 2017. Here’s all the action ahead according to General Hospital spoilers.

For starters, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is appreciative when Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) brings him Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) journal. Sonny’s worried he’ll never get answers about why Morgan lost control, but he’s hopeful about the journal containing some hints.

Once Michael exits, Sonny spots a dosage discrepancy in an entry of Morgan’s. A quick phone call gets Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) to come over. After some discussion about the dosage adjustment, Andre suggests Morgan had to be receiving no lithium at all to behave that way.

That doesn’t make sense to Sonny, who knows Morgan was taking his pills. Sonny empties the remaining pills from the bottle and realizes there’s an unidentifiable powder at the bottom. Although Sonny doesn’t know what it is, he can tell it isn’t lithium. Andre assures Sonny that he’ll get the bottle tested.

On the red carpet, Ava’s asked about her generous donation. Sonny doesn’t look pleased as he watches Ava’s interview on TV. As for Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), he thinks Ava’s just trying to do something about the guilt she’s battling over Morgan.

Later, Scott tries to talk Ava out of making the donation in Morgan’s memory. He thinks it’ll anger Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), so Ava confesses that Lucy told her the same thing. Ava tells Lucy to call off the part about honoring Morgan, but Mario Lopez brings it up on the red carpet anyway.

Over with Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman), she hears Carly’s story about catching Sonny with Martina Morsales (Daya Zaidya). Bobbie rants until Carly mentions that Sonny’s home reading Morgan’s journal tonight. Carly can’t help but feel a little sorry for Sonny.

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) pops up soon enough and joins the ladies in a warm embrace. Bobbie, Carly and Josslyn all meet up with Michael next. Michael worries about Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), who’s been admitted to GH. This news concerns Joss, but Bobbie insists Nelle’s all right.

Meanwhile, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) can tell Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) is quieter than usual. Jason seems unsettled, so Sam suspects this is about the dream he had earlier. Jason reflects on it being a real nightmare since Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) robbed him of his loved ones. He just feels like something is wrong and can’t shake it.

Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) is all set to be Jake Webber’s (Hudson West) assistant for his magic show, so she asks Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) if she wants to join in the fun. Backstage, Jake has a secret to share with the girls. He warns that Emma and Charlotte can’t tell anyone about this and reveals the Chimera canister. It’s for the big finale of Jake’s act.

Over with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), he reminds Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) of his love and pushes for another chance. Next, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) decides to accompany Amy Driscoll (Rita Dorken) on the red carpet. Amy admits she doesn’t have a date because it’s hard to find time for socializing. She mentions a second job and leaves Nathan curious about what it is.

Anna explains the Chimera Project situation to Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen), who looks at the Chimera necklace and offers a warning. Griffin frets about the risks of digging into this, but Anna insists on getting more answers. She’s unaware when she drops the necklace, which leaves Jason to come along and find it.

After Lucy begins the Nurses Ball fun, Anna corners Valentin and pushes him to reveal who he sold the Chimera Project to. She’s really hoping Valentin can put his anger aside and do what’s right. Carly’s thinking about Morgan in the ballroom, where Michael suggests the rift between Carly and Sonny isn’t too wide. He thinks Carly misses Sonny despite everything that’s happened.

Over with Ava again, she worries about Sonny putting the puzzle together. Ava hates that Mario wasn’t brought in the loop on calling off the Morgan dedication. Scott doesn’t think that’s enough for Sonny to figure out Ava’s role in Morgan’s downward spiral. When Sonny appears in the distance, Ava seems petrified.
