That’s what a lot of royal fans and critics on both sides of the aisle can’t help but wonder when it comes to Princess Charlotte and her latest public appearance with her parents and her siblings. Royal Critics Raise Their Eyebrows Over Princess Charlotte’s Latest Appearance

A lot of royal fans couldn’t help but notice that Princess Charlotte had a dress on that looked like it was better suited for someone that lived during the turn of the 20th century and not during modern times.

That’s because she wore a dress that looked very outdated during a Christmas service with her parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, and her two brothers, Prince George and Prince George.

And clearly, everyone wants to know why the royals insist on dressing Princess Charlotte like she doesn’t belong in this century while her brothers get to wear normal suits. Is this a trend that Kate Middleton wants to bring back in children’s fashion or is she just sticking to tradition?

Of course, the internet had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

What’s Really Going On With Princess Charlotte’s Wardrobe?

Some even commented with, “Charlotte needs to be allowed to wear a dress from this century.”

“Hopefully the kids get to dress normally at home? With Paw Patrol pajamas and mismatched socks, hopefully anything that helps them feel like actual people instead of paper dolls.”

Another critic of the royal family wrote, “The boys in suits are wearing somewhat normal clothes but Charlotte is always being dressed by Kate as a girl in the early 1900s. It is so bizarre. There are nice dresses that don’t look ancient.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Poor girl looks like she’s an American Girl Doll. Didn’t realize the 1900’s fashion was coming back.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
