General Hospital recaps for Thursday, December 11, revealed Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) helped a frightened Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), and word of Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) arrest spread.
Also, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) spotted something important on traffic cams from the night of Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting.
Portia Robinson Asked Britt Westbourne For Help
In the hospital, Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) waited with Portia in an exam room for a doctor, even though her pain had eased. When Britt arrived, Portia pleaded with the fallen doctor to check on her since there were no other OB/GYNs available.
After making a sarcastic remark to Isaiah about her lack of a medical license, Britt told him to leave the room.
As Isaiah lingered in the hallway, recalling the times he had been with Portia, the expectant mother feared she might be having a miscarriage. Britt then asked Isaiah to bring Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) from the ER.
Britt Reassured Portia
When Lucas entered the exam room, he questioned Britt’s involvement with Portia but agreed to assist by ordering tests since Britt was not authorized to do so.
Britt reassured Portia that she didn’t believe she was going to lose the baby, explaining that the tests were just a precaution. She thought stress and dehydration might have caused the cramps and advised Portia to take a few days of bed rest and focus more on her health.
Returning to the hallway, Britt told Isaiah that Portia was resting, then Lucas approached them and mentioned that the tests had been ordered, then pulled Britt aside for a private conversation.
Acknowledging her breach of hospital policy, Britt insisted she would handle HR because she couldn’t ignore Portia’s desperate request for help. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)
Lucas Jones Offers Recommendation Letter
Instead of scolding her, Lucas offered to write Britt another letter of recommendation to help her get her license reinstated, impressed by her instincts with both Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Portia.
At the same time, Isaiah walked into Portia’s room and asked if the baby was his. She replied truthfully, saying that either he or Curtis could be the father, and mentioned that she hadn’t shared her pregnancy news yet because she was waiting for a paternity test.
Portia also added that Curtis was aware of the baby since Jordan had figured it out and informed him. She told Isaiah that since Curtis was unaware of the affair and believed the baby was his, no one else needed to know about it.
This was to ensure Isaiah’s professional reputation stayed safe.
Isaiah Gannon Wasn’t Thrilled
General Hospital recap for Thursday, December 11 note Isaiah was not happy with that answer. He thought about whether Portia would have told him about the baby at all, even if the paternity test showed it was his.
After her experience with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) years ago, Portia had promised to inform him if he was the father, but she didn’t expect anything from him since they weren’t in a relationship.
They decided to hold off on discussing his possible role until the test results came back, and Portia mentioned she would inform him when the test was set.
As Isaiah left the room, she took his hand, and once in the hallway, he felt hopeful about the chance of becoming a dad. Portia, holding her belly, promised her unborn child that everything would turn out fine.
Davis Sisters Catch Up
Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) was at the hospital for an allergy shot when Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) came to support her, knowing her sister dislikes needles.
While they waited, Kristina mentioned the incident with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) at the Brown Dog, but Molly changed the subject to her new romance novel.
Playfully, Kristina asked who inspired the cowboy character, and Molly admitted that Cody might have influenced her hero.
Later, after Kristina received her allergy shot, she offered to read Molly’s book. But Molly joked that she would prefer to ask their mom.
Elizabeth Baldwin Had Eye Problems
In the meantime, General Hospital Head Nurse Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) expressed her concerns regarding her dry and itchy eyes to patient advocate
Felicia Scorpio ( Kristina Wagner). In response, Felicia promptly arranged for Liz to see one of the ophthalmologists at the hospital.
After her appointment, Liz returned with news that she had been diagnosed with a prevalent condition known as demodex blepharitis.
This condition, which arises from an excessive presence of eyelid mites, is fortunately quite manageable and can be effectively treated with eye drops.

Dante Falconeri Summoned Jordan Ashford
Dante summoned Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) to the PCPD to obtain her signature on the transcript of her discussion with Curtis and Nathan.
She was taken aback to find out that Curtis had been arrested for making a false statement and facing obstruction of justice charges.
When Dante brought up the video evidence of Selina Wu (Lydia Look) at The Savoy, Jordan speculated that the mobster might have contacted Curtis upon her return to town.
Dante then revealed that the current theory was that Curtis had reached out to Selina to handle ‘something or someone.’ To that, Jordan had quite a few questions.
Jordan’s Question
Jordan asked if he truly thought Curtis was guilty… or if the PCPD was pursuing that line because the case against Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) was weak.
She also asked if he wanted to avoid implicating Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson). As Dante maintained that he had stepped back from the investigation due to bias and that the department was merely following the evidence, Jordan claimed the evidence was a stretch.
Further, she questioned whether they intended to drop the charges against Willow, but ultimately signed the transcript.
Trina Robinson Shows Up
After hearing from Curtis’s lawyer about his arrest, Trina and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) went to see him in his PCPD holding cell. He admitted that he had lied in his statement regarding the night Drew was shot.
Trina thought he had been alone with Jordan at The Savoy, but Curtis pointed out that it didn’t make sense to be with her at the club and then meet her at the Brown Dog afterward.
He assured his daughter that he never cheated on Portia, insisting that he and Jordan were just friends when the shooting happened.
When Trina asked why he had lied to the police, Curtis explained that there was video of Selina Wu at the club that night.

Curtis Ashford’s Explanation
General Hospital recaps for December 11 note that Curtis told Trina that he had met with Selina because he believed they could collaborate again, but he realized the price was too high.
Trina was confused about why he lied about the meeting if it was insignificant. Curtis falsely claimed that Selina didn’t want anyone to know she was back in town and that he didn’t think it was important to the case.
Soon after, Jordan arrived, and seeing her father’s on-again love interest upset Trina, prompting her to leave with Kai.
Curtis apologized to Jordan for dragging her into his problems and asked for her assistance in resolving the situation to avoid being charged with attempted murder.
The News Of Curtis’ Arrest Spread
At Alexis Davis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) house, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) exclaimed that the charges against Willow were about to be dismissed since someone else had been taken into custody.
A smug Drew announced that Michael was finally facing the consequences he deserved, and Willow would regain custody of her children now that his nephew had been arrested.
As Willow embraced her husband in relief, Nina interrupted to reveal that she had been with Curtis in his office when her brother arrived to arrest him, not Michael.
She was uncertain about the charges. But since J and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) were leading the investigation into Drew’s shooting, it likely had something to do with that.
Suzanne Contacted A Source At The PCPD
Meanwhile, Suzanne (Jen Ray) contacted a source at the PCPD for information, while Alexis cautioned Willow not to get her hopes up about the charges being dropped just yet.
Believing they were looking into the wrong person, Drew insisted that Curtis didn’t dislike him enough to shoot him. Nina, wanting to spare Willow from a trial for a crime she didn’t commit, argued that Curtis’s arrest should support the reasonable doubt argument.
While they agreed that it was a possible outcome, Alexis warned them that the evidence against Willow wouldn’t simply disappear, and the judge might still decide to move forward with the trial.
Nina fumed that if the PCPD had any evidence against Curtis, then Willow should no longer be considered a suspect.
Nina Reeves Comforted Her Daughter
While Alexis and Drew were looking at something on her computer, Nina comforted her daughter by saying that Curtis’s being charged would alter everything regarding the visitation hearing.
Twisting her wedding rings, Willow agreed-when Nina asked what Willow planned to do about Drew, Willow said she couldn’t discuss it at that moment. Across the room, Drew received a call from Jordan, who mentioned she had a message for him.
Then, Alexis informed the others that Suzanne learned from her contact at the DA’s office what the charges against Curtis were-and that new search warrants had been issued for his bank records and video footage.
Suzanne also mentioned that the rumor in the courthouse was that Selina Wu appeared in some of the footage, which puzzled Alexis.
Drew Cain Was Startled By The Mention Of Selina Wu’s Name
Startled by the mention of Selina’s name, Drew stepped out to take a phone call, and Nina left as well. Once it was just Willow and Suzanne, Alexis told her client that Selina’s involvement would introduce a new perspective.
This would shift things from a crime of passion to a premeditated hit. Again urging Willow not to get her hopes up, Alexis added that if the PCPD proceeded with their attempted murder charges against Curtis, they would have to drop the charges against her.
She advised her client to remain calm until they knew for sure.
Michael Corinthos Was Frustrated
Upon reaching Curtis’s office, Michael felt frustrated to see the PCPD searching for Aurora Media; Nathan updated him about Curtis’s arrest.
Michael then proceeded to the Crimson offices, where he discovered Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) trying on a dress in Nina’s office, as the boss was off for the day.
He informed her about the situation at Aurora, sharing that Curtis was charged with obstruction of justice, but that could escalate to attempted murder.
It depended on the evidence the police uncovered, which could lead to Willow’s release; Michael worried that if Willow was cleared, it might affect their visitation hearing.
He thought she would portray herself as a wronged mother who hadn’t seen her kids in months and was now married to a congressman.
Michael & Jacinda Caught
“And you will be dating a hooker,” Jacinda remarked with resignation. Michael advised Jacinda against speaking negatively about herself, but she shrugged it off, saying that was how others saw her.
She noted that if Curtis was charged with Drew’s shooting, they wouldn’t have to pretend to be in a relationship anymore. However, Michael believed that Curtis’s lawyers would attempt to use the same tactics as Alexis to create reasonable doubt.
Jacinda tried to offer Michael a way out of their relationship, but they both acknowledged that their feelings were genuine now. A passionate kiss escalated things, and Nina entered to find Michael and Jacinda partially undressed, kissing in her office!
Trina Opens Up
Outside the PCPD, General Hospital recaps for the Thursday state that Trina opened up to Kai, expressing her uncertainty about her father’s narrative.
She found it hard to accept the idea that Curtis could wish harm upon Drew, yet she was beginning to question her understanding of her father.
Trina emphasized that more than ever, she felt a pressing need to uncover the truth about the events of the night Drew was shot.
However, Kai couldn’t help but ponder what Trina would do if the shocking revelation came to light that her father was indeed the one responsible.
The fact that Kai had left his fingerprints on a baseball bat that night apparently has been forgotten.

Nathan & Dante Spotted Something Important
After returning to the station from the search at Aurora, Nathan updated Dante about Michael’s arrival and his distress over Curtis’s arrest.
Following this, Nathan started examining Curtis’s bank statements for any significant withdrawals that could suggest a payment to Selina Wu.
Dante also requested a review of traffic and doorbell camera footage to find any signs of Selina or her associates near Drew’s house that evening.
While Nathan and Dante were going over the report on the neighborhood videos, they discovered a discrepancy in the footage from one camera that had not been analyzed yet.
However, once they watched the tape, both Dante and Nathan noticed something that could influence the investigation; “That’s our answer,” the acting commissioner announced.
Curtis’s Deal With Drew
In the dimly lit confines of the jail below, Drew made his way to visit Curtis, reveling in the fact that his once-close friend was on the verge of facing charges for the very act of shooting him.
Yet, Curtis, unfazed by Drew’s taunts, urged him to cease the charade, pointing out that the true reason behind Drew’s desire to see him dead was “extremely troublesome” for the congressman. He then proposed that they explore a potential alliance to assist one another.
The two former best buddies seem to be reinstating a form of their friendship as partners in crime-or at least throwing the evidence of a crime! It would seem that Curtis has overcome his former fear of rats, trying to make a deal with a great big one!
