It looks like this is a scandal that is never going away. There’s a new report that suggests another member of the royal family met with Jeffrey Epstein.

But for those who might think that we are talking about the British royal family, think again. That’s because it’s a member of the Swedish royal family that has now got caught in the scandal and headlines.

Per the latest reports, it was suggested that Princess Sofia met with Jeffrey Epstein on several different occasions when she was in her early twenties. And while no one knows exactly what might have happened, the palace wants everyone to know that they were nothing more than friends.

However, the Swedish royal family went on the record to clarify that Princess Sofia only met the disgraced but also dead financier in “social settings” and that they were never alone together.

The Swedish palace even released a statement to the press that said: “The recent media reporting regarding Princess Sofia has given rise to speculation about the Princess and her alleged relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.”

The statement continued: “The Royal Court notes the significant media interest in this matter. At the same time, it is important that the reporting remains focused on what is relevant.”

“No one can be expected to remember every person they have encountered throughout their life; however, Princess Sofia recalls meeting Epstein on a few occasions about 20 years ago. We wish to clarify that these meetings took place in social settings, such as at a restaurant and a movie premiere.”

Clearly, the Swedish royal family is doing everything they can to protect Princess Sofia, as they do not want to be embroiled in another scandal similar to what the British royals have been dealing with thanks to Prince Andrew.

King Charles’s little brother was recently stripped from his royal title and even evicted from the Royal Lodge because of his past association with Jeffrey Epstein. Many critics have even blasted the British royal family for taking this long to do anything about it to begin with.

No further comments have been made on the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said.
