Now, that’s not to say that it’s going to happen anytime soon. But at the same time, the King of England knows that he must impose more discipline within the monarchy or it will only be a matter of time before it falls apart.

It’s been said that some of the senior members of the royal family, like Prince William and Kate Middleton, need to step it up when it comes to the number of royal engagements and public appearances they make each week.

But that simply hasn’t happened. There aren’t as many full-time working members of the royal family as there is and the ones who are available just aren’t putting in the effort that King Charles is hoping for.

That’s why there’s a new report that says something needs to be done and it needs to be done fast. In other words, the time for half-measures is over and that’s why the King is looking to reassert his authority.

But whether or not this new plan will work, remains to be seen. Prince William and Kate Middleton have been known as the laziest royals for years now and it’s not like anything he will do or say will change that between now and the time of his death.

However, it’s not like he can lose them completely. With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle out of the royal fold, there’s really no one else to pick up the workload unless he promotes Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice to full-time status.

But whether or not the York sisters even want that is unknown. Either way, the King of England knows he needs to put his foot down otherwise the royal family is close to its final days.
