General Hospital Spoilers: Jack Targeted Carly From Day One, Then Fell For Her?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers point to Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) teaming to take down Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).

On the December 19 episode however, it appeared that Jack has been playing Carly for much longer than she ever imagined.

The truth came from Valentin who knows Jack inside and out. According to him, he’s been working Carly for a looong time.

If this is correct, as fans think it is, Jack was using Carly to get to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and that makes sense since Jason was his captive for a while.

On top of that, Jack recruited Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) into the WSB.

It started with Jack having Josslyn take down Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Jack tested her and she came through by shooting Cyrus. Mission accomplished.

Jack’s been lying to Carly and he did not come clean when she gave him a chance. Now she’s out for blood. She should not have fallen for him since he was ready to kidnap her before Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) arrested him!

He was sent to Pentonville and from there wooed Carly who has no decent sense in men, obviously.

On Friday’s episode, Valentin told Carly that Jagger Cates (Adam Harrington) used dirt on her to control Jason and told Carly that Jack saved her bacon. She was floored.

Let’s face it, this is probably a rewrite now that Brennan is unredeemable. Still, it is spicy and we have yet to see how Carly ultimately reacts.

Significantly, Jack gave Carly a necklace which could be bugged. Carly depends on Jack with her secrets and basically looking back, he’s been too good to be true. The way he threatens Joss is also a red flag.

Why would Jack record Carly? To blackmail her if things go wrong!

Carly’s focus is getting Josslyn out of the WSB so we may be able to forgive her for not seeing Jack for who he is.
