General Hospital spoilers reveal Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has been locked up for weeks with little clue as to who is holding her captive or why.
By now, she’d have expected something would have transpired that gave her insight into her captor’s motives.
Instead, they’re keeping her on the back burner, and she has no idea if that’s because there are plans for her down the line, or because her kidnapper intends to slowly drive her mad. It could be both!
Regardless, the present of sorts that she received this week was maddening all on its own, and it left us with more questions than answers.
But the biggest chunk of curiosity on our minds must be who is lurking behind Pascal (Marc Forget) if it’s not Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
But It Could Be Sidwell
While Pascal is keeping it cool under pressure, Anna is refusing to engage, which I’d expect from a former WSB agent who has been held captive many times before.
As she attempts to solve the mystery of who has locked her up and why, she may only grow more uncomfortable and terrified the closer she gets to that truth.
If it is Sidwell orchestrating all of this, I’m eager to learn how he became so interested in and connected to Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
GH Spoilers Tease Sidwell May Be Someone Else Entirely
When Anna unwrapped the book taped to the bottom of her food tray, she was beyond startled. A book decorated with her face and titled, The Crystalized Conspiracy by P.K. Sinclair shook her to her core.
Inside, an inscription reading, “For my muse – C.” It might seem short and to the point, but that was all that was necessary to send Anna spiraling into shock and disbelief. She doesn’t want to believe this.
For months since Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) returned to town — not dead, she has wondered whether Faison could somehow be operating posthumously — be it via himself or someone else.
While Sidwell could be carrying out Faison’s precarious research, sometimes I think Sidwell could also be Faison. Can we say mind mapping?
Or It Could Be a Faison Family Foe
Of course, the most likely scenario here is that just like his son and daughter, Faison somehow survived Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) alleged fatal gunshot.
Since this is a soap opera, it’s also possible that Britt and Nathan are not Britt and Nathan but clones of them — and Faison could return in similar fashion.
That being said, if Anna’s captor is one of her real life enemies back from the dead, it stands to reason that it could be Cesar, but could also be Heinrich Faison — AKA Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Which are you hoping to see again?
