It looks like the resentment runs deep. There’s heavy speculation suggesting that Doria Ragland might be the reason why Meghan Markle is refusing to reach out to her father, Thomas Markle, even though he is currently in the hospital in The Philippines.

Many royalists are already aware that Meghan has a very close relationship with her mother, Doria, while she’s been estranged from her father Thomas ever since he was spotted trying to work with the paparazzi only a few days before her royal wedding to Prince Harry back in 2018.

It’s been suggested that Meghan might be siding with her mother Doria just because of some of the awful and horrible things that have been said about her in the press over the years.

It’s also been speculated that all the negative information about Doria might have been leaked by the Markle family.

Now, that’s not to say that Thomas is responsible for any of the negative headlines with Doria Ragland’s name. But he sure didn’t do anything to stop it from happening, either.

Royal Family News: What’s Next For Thomas Markle?

For Meghan Markle, the choice is clear. While she’s had her ups and downs with her father Thomas over the years, her relationship with her mother Doria has always been consistent. And that’s why she’s decided to align herself with just one parent and not both.

And while no one knows what’s going to happen to Thomas in the coming months or even weeks ahead, one thing is for certain: Meghan Markle has closed that loop. She doesn’t want anything to do with her father, let alone speak with him ever again. And it’s going to stay that way.

So far Doria Ragland herself has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. But whether or not Meghan actually picks up the phone and calls her father in the hospital remains to be seen. Watch this space for more.
