‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Recap Tuesday, December 23: Eric’s Depression, Beth’s Sacrifice, Donna Frets

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is finally in for Tuesday, December 23, 2025. In today’s episode, Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis) worries about her husband.

Eric Forrester (John McCook) seems to be in a depression. Plus, Beth Spencer (Jordyn Grace) makes a sweet sacrifice. (Make sure to check out our WEEKLY B&B spoilers, here!)

Ridge Forrester’s Concern

Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) talk. Something is bothering the dressman.

Ridge is worried about his father now that he’s retired. It will be really hard for him to stop going to the office. BRIDGE decided to go to work and help out.

Donna Logan Forrester’s Encouragement

At Eric’s estate, Donna is so excited about the holidays! Eric just can’t get into the spirit this year. He doesn’t want to ruin the holiday for the children.

Donna encourages him to get on the piano and make his eggnog. Eric is the spirit of Christmas!

Later, Donna brings in presents. Brooke and Ridge arrive. Where’s Eric? Donna confesses he’s having a hard time. Ridge goes to look for Eric while Donna talks to Brooke.

The retirement has really knocked Eric off balance. Eric doesn’t even want to celebrate the holidays. Brooke is shocked!

Eric Forrester’s Depression

At Forrester Creations, Eric goes to the showroom. The man recalls his fight with Ridge, then sees a photo of Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery). Eric says Stephanie checked out at the right time.

Ridge enters. Eric just wanted to see if anything had changed. They talk about Donna’s party. Ridge reminds Eric that he’s still leading the family.

Eric says it feels strange. He doesn’t want to disappoint the kids. Ridge assures him he won’t. Everyone loves him!

They hug and Ridge leaves. Eric takes out a gown and this is the greatest design of his career! He’s going to release it tomorrow!

Beth Spencer’s Sacrifice

At home, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) kiss under mistletoe.

The kids run in and want to bake cookies. The kids make their lists while SINN discusses Eric. Steffy says it’s really important that they celebrate Christmas and Eric tomorrow.

The kids have their letters for Santa. They didn’t ask for anything for themselves. Beth makes a speech about how some kids don’t even have food or doctors. Awwww, that is so sweet and so true.

When the kids run off, Finn tells his wife that each day is like Christmas with her. Steffy loves him so much and they share another kiss.
