‘DOOL’ Spoilers Weekly Update Dec 29-Jan 2: NYE Wedding, Kayla’s Surprise, Kate’s Odd Alliance

Days of Our Lives spoilers are in for the week of December 29, 2025!  Fans can expect there to be a wedding on New Year’s Eve. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) has a surprise for Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols).

Plus, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) forms an odd alliance. Keep reading, and let’s talk about what is coming up in the Peacock soap opera.

New Year’s Eve Wedding

Let’s start off with Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon). The couple is getting married. Leo will turn to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) for a favor, which might be for her to officiate the wedding.

Gwen Rizczech von Leuschner’s Dress

As for Gwen Rizczech von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien), she has hired Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) to design her a dress.

Gwen wanted to make sure it was like Fashion Week and something that will get everyone’s attention. It seems that Gwen offered Gabi a ton of cash to get it done in a week, too.

While she might claim it’s for a New Year’s Eve party, could it be so she can crash Leo and Javi’s wedding?

Another possibility is that this is really for Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) and Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) surprise returns. Both men have been mentioned, and I don’t think Stefan is dead as Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) claims. 

Christmas Blessings

Days of Our Lives spoilers for next week reveal that Steve and Kayla will have the perfect farewell to Christmas. Later in the week, Kayla will also have a surprise for her husband.

Meanwhile, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) get a moment together. This could mean an opening for the stalker, though!

Marlena gets some comfort from Roman Brady (Josh Taylor). This is going to be a hard time for Marlena now that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) is gone. Every holiday will feel empty without him.

Also, Kate spends the holidays with Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo).

What Else to Expect

As for what else to expect, Rafe has some bad news for Gabi. This could be about Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews).

The young man is unconscious, and it has brought up feelings for a lot of characters, including JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss). Gabi was front and center in that storyline as she basically saved JJ from taking his own life.

However, Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) share a reunion. So, that will be a happy moment. As for Kate, she will team up with Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer)! 

Meanwhile, Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) resents Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). 

Finally, Belle Black (Martha Madison), she tries to negotiate with Melinda Trask (Tina Huang). Meanwhile, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is forced to make a difficult decision.

Considering Kristen accidentally killed Melinda’s daughter all those years ago, I wonder if that could cause complications.
