General Hospital spoilers reveal there is no new episode on Wednesday, December 31 or Thursday, January 1. So, what is happening when new episodes resume on Friday, January 2, 2026?

Fans can expect Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to brainstorm a new strategy. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) warns Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).

Alexis Davis’ New Strategy

In light of the New Year, there is no preview clip that has been released yet for the next episode. However, we do still have the official spoilers released by ABC.

So, expect Alexis to brainstorm a new strategy to use with Willow Tait Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) criminal case. Things aren’t looking too good for Willow right now.

However, Alexis was slipped that note about Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) and Michael.

Even though Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) tried to punish Alexis through Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante), Willow came through for them on Christmas.

It’s not enough to bring in other suspects, they need a way to prove Willow is innocent. So, what is Alexis going to do? If she doesn’t win the case, it means more than a legal loss on her record. It also means losing Scout.

Laura Collins’ Marching Orders

Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) is going to be away for a while with his new job offer. While he was going to stick around, Laura pushed him to live life like normal.

Laura thinks it would be best to keep him distracted as well as protect him from Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). The last thing Laura wants is for Sidwell to target her husband.

Laura will also get new orders. I fear what these are. While Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) did give Laura a juicy tidbit about Sidwell’s personal life, it’s not enough to get out from blackmail.

Sonny Corinthos’ Warning

General Hospital spoilers for tomorrow’s episode reveal that Sonny will have a warning for his son. Fans watched as Sonny had a meal with Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor). Sonny is also worried that Michael is making all the wrong decisions when it comes to his alibi story.

Dante Falconeri Confers

Back to Justine, expect her to confer with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). So, I wonder what case they will discuss and what it means for Port Charles’ future.

Kristina Corinthos-Davis Surprised

As for Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), she is taken aback. So, what happens that catches the young woman off guard? Does this have something to do with family or something else entirely?
