‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers Friday, January 2: Wedding Mystery, Kayla’s Surprise, Alex’s Late Gift

Days of Our Lives spoilers are in for Friday, January 2, 2026! In tomorrow’s episode, fans can expect there to be a wedding mystery. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) has a surprise for Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols).

Javi Hernandez’s Wedding Mystery

Let’s start off with Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) and Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) wedding. Leo was having a panic attack and went to talk to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).

It seemed like everything had been taken care of. However, Leo still hasn’t shown up at the wedding and it’s about to start.

Javi and Marlena are worried that Leo might have freaked out and skipped the wedding. However, there might be something else going on. Maybe Leo shows up a few minutes late because he wanted to get something special for Javi. I really don’t see Leo skipping the wedding intentionally.

Gwen Rizczech von Leuschner Frustrated

Over with Gwen Rizczech von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien), she got a last-minute invite to the wedding. However, Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) couldn’t make the dress like Gwen wanted.

While the woman showed up in a sparkly red dress, she will get frustrated. Maybe Leo not showing up ruins some part of her plan?

Alex Kiriakis’ Late Christmas Gift

Days of Our Lives spoilers for tomorrow’s episode reveal that Alex will have another late Christmas present for Abigail.

The last one was a piece of lingerie. However, could this next one be an engagement ring? Alex has been hinted for few weeks that he’s thinking about a future with Stephanie.

The kid issue bothers Alex a bit but Stephanie kind of covered with that. It really seems like she just hasn’t put much thought into children at the moment.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, as Stephanie has family, a boyfriend, friends, and two careers.

However, Stephanie should be sure about whether she wants kids or not before typing the knot with Alex.

Kayla Johnson’s Surprise

As for Kayla, she has a special surprise for Steve. I wonder if the two will have another day off together. Even though Stephanie and Alex would like some privacy, could Steve have a hard time staying away from his daughter’s apartment? Maybe Alex’s late gift and Kayla’s surprise are connected.
