Days of Our Lives spoilers are in for Monday, January 5, 2026! In the next episode, fans can expect Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) to face a life-altering challenge.

Leo Stark’s Life-Altering Challenge

Let’s start off with Leo and Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon). Even though one of the grooms was late to the wedding, he finally showed up.

Now Leo and Javi are newly married! However, there is a twist, which explains why Gwen was looking so irritated during the ceremony. Crossing her arms against her sparkly red dress, she kept staring at her phone impatiently.

Then, right after Leo and Javi were about to head to the reception, someone from the past resurfaced. That person is none other than Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte)!

Once Leo and Javi get over the shock of seeing Dimitri, everyone is going to be looking at Gwen. After all, it was Gwen who kept trying to pressure Leo to find Dimitri. In the end, Leo wasn’t interested as his heart now belongs to Javi.

So, what is the reason for Gwen doing this? To get back to Leo for sleeping with her husband?

Holly Jonas’ Surprise

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the next episode reveal that Dimitri won’t be the only surprise return. Even though Holly was just in Paris for the holidays, she comes back to Salem as well. It will be just a bit earlier than what Tate expected. So, it should be a joyous reunion, although there are hints that Holly comes back with a new attitude.

Sarah Horton’s New Year

Over with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), she will ring in the New Year with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). It’s good to know that Sarah was so forgiving of Rachel Black (Alice Halsey).

At the same time, when Rachel went into Bayview, Brady and Sarah were just friends. I wonder if Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) could put some paranoid thoughts into Rachel’s head. If she does, that could complicate Brady and Sarah’s new romance!

Julie Williams’ Advice

As for Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), she spends more time with Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark). Even though Jeremy is a teacher now, not everyone believes he’s changed. At the same time, it seems like someone is making it appear as though Jeremy is guilty, so stay tuned!
