Today on General Hospital – Dante Can’t Trust Himself

At the police station, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) was curious if Dante truly thought that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) had set up Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) for shooting Drew.

The acting commissioner admitted he was unsure of what to believe anymore. Bringing the investigation folders into the interrogation room, Dante requested Nathan to examine his research, as he no longer felt capable of being impartial. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

Later, Nathan was reviewing the files when Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) came to the PCPD. She said she looking for an update on Justine Turner’s (Nazneen Contractor) behalf about the missing evidence.

Molly Gave Nathan A Reminder Who’s On Trial

When Nathan mentioned he was checking Michael’s phone records, Molly reminded him that the case was against Willow, not Michael, and the prosecution needed evidence against her to secure a conviction.

In reply, Nathan asked if she was speaking as the Assistant D.A. or as someone close to Michael. Clarifying that she was just there to help Turner, Molly expressed her relief at not being involved in the case since it included many people she cared for.

Before leaving, Nathan gave her a file on the case and assured her he would carefully review all the evidence to ensure justice was achieved.

Tracy Comes To A Shocking Realization

Putting together that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) deceived Tracy into saying she saw Michael on Crestview Lane the night Drew was shot, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) hinted someone might have overheard.

Since the defense lacked a real witness, the eavesdropper could have overhead Tracy and Michael’s conversation and then  informed Alexis. Since they had only talked about it at home, Tracy thought the informant was someone from the mansion.

And although she didn’t believe Dante would betray his brother again, she suspected Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) could have snitched. Tracy then left and headed to the Port Charles Grille on her way back home.

Dante Came By Lulu’s To Talk, And She Comforted Her Ex

After Tracy departed Lulu’s house, Dante came by pretending to check on Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke).

Aware of what transpired in court that day and how guilty Dante felt about Michael’s time in Pentonville as a teenager, Lulu reassured him that he didn’t need to make excuses for visiting; she would always support him.

As Dante expressed that with everything going on with Michael, Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), he no longer trusted his own judgment, Lulu provided comfort to her ex.

Ezra Bugged Laura While She Waited For Martin

While waiting for Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) at The Port Charles Grille, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) felt irritated when Ezra came up to her.

The councilman remarked that she should be less defensive towards him since they both now worked for Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) before moving to another table.

When Martin finally arrived, Laura informed her brother that Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) had relocated to Ireland with Ace Cassadine (Kieran and Karis Barry).

But he saw through her made-up story about how wonderful it would be for both Ace and Kevin and insisted on knowing the truth. Laura then proceeded to tell him something she thought he’d find believable.

Laura Threw Valentin Under The Bus As Tracy Interrupted Their Conversation

Laura revealed that she had sent Ace away because it wasn’t safe for him to stay in Port Charles with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) on the loose.

She explained that the toddler was the only Cassadine heir. Martin responded that Valentin was only a danger to his enemies, but when Laura became upset about wanting to protect her grandson, he commended his sister for making such a tough choice.

Later, Tracy approached their table, seeking an update from Martin regarding her family heirlooms. He stated that he had attempted to speak with Drew, but the congressman had been difficult to reach due to Willow’s trial.

Tracy Threatened Martin, He Flashed Back To Overhearing Her Conversation With Michael

When Tracy issued a threat to send him back to prison, Martin confidently reassured her that he would do everything within his power to recover her belongings.

He then leaned in to kiss Laura goodbye before making his exit. Once he was gone, Laura took the opportunity to tell Tracy that she had every justification to feel angry with Martin for his actions involving Ronnie Bard (Erika Slezak); yet she held onto the hope that they could eventually move past it.

Meanwhile, just outside the restaurant, Martin found himself reflecting on the day he had overheard Michael and Tracy engaged in conversation.

He had been standing  outside the Quartermaine kitchen, a moment that had revealed  that he was the one who had tipped off Alexis!

Jacinda Ghosted Ezra

In the restaurant, Jacinda met Ezra, who wanted to give their relationship a real chance now that the truth was out. Surprised, Jacinda said she didn’t think she was right for his political career, but Ezra believed her new job at Crimson showed otherwise.

She worried about getting fired since her boss didn’t want her there, and Michael couldn’t protect her if he faced attempted murder charges.

When Ezra offered to help her find another job, Jacinda declined, saying she planned to leave town and start fresh.

Thinking she was leaving because of him, Ezra dropped the future talk and convinced Jacinda to stay for a drink. But when he returned with champagne, Jacinda was gone.

Alexis And Suzanne Celebrated In Alexis’ Office

After winning in court, Alexis and Suzanne (Jen Ray) went to Miller & Davis. Suzanne gave her boss a good-luck cake, a tradition she had with her past bosses before closing arguments.

But before they could eat, Drew and Willow arrived, and he insisted Alexis call more witnesses. Alexis told them she would rest the defense’s case the next morning, with Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) strong testimony and reasonable doubt fresh in the jury’s mind.

Unhappy, Drew told her to put him on the stand to explain Michael’s anger and threats. When both Alexis and Suzanne advised against it, Willow agreed but then said she wanted to testify.

Alexis Shot Down Willow And Drew’s Ideas, But Drew Forced The Issue

Alexis listed why Willow testifying was a bad idea, saying Drew could do what he wanted to Michael after Willow was cleared, but they wouldn’t ruin her hard work.

Drew confronted Alexis, demanding she put him on the stand or he’d block her from seeing Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante). “If you want to testify, go ahead. Just know I warned you,” she said.

As the Cains left the office, Drew assured Willow he’d make Michael look guilty enough for the jury to acquit her.

When the visitation hearing came, he boasted she’d be the only parent there because Michael would be in jail; “Tomorrow will change everything,” Drew told his wife. “You’ll see.”

Michael Returned To The Quartermaine Mansion Upset, Kristina Came To Apologize

Upset about the court outcome, Michael burst into the Quartermaine mansion, surprising Gio. They talked about how much the family loved Gio’s Christmas show, and Gio offered to help with the kids before leaving.

Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) arrived as Gio departed and apologized to Michael for not warning him that her mom would target him in court.

She knew Alexis’s defense relied on blaming another suspect, likely Michael. However, she didn’t know specifics until she checked her mom’s files and found an updated witness list with Ezra and Jacinda.

Kristina Told Michael About The Anonymous Note

Plus she found  an anonymous note saying someone saw him and Tracy on the street the night of the shooting.

Unable to warn him, Kristina said she gave Jacinda money to leave town, hoping that if Jacinda couldn’t back up Ezra’s story, Michael’s alibi would hold.

Michael then told his sister that Jacinda went to the courthouse to warn him about something but was called to the stand before she could explain.

Although he didn’t get why Jacinda never mentioned being with Boyle, Michael thought it was irrelevant after the bad day in court. Still, he expressed hope that Jacinda hadn’t left town so they could resolve things.

Trina And Kai Argued, And Asked Gio For A Favor

At Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) apartment, she and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) argued about whether to report their suspicion that Michael shot Drew.

Trina insisted they stay out of it to protect Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), while Kai argued that staying silent could send an innocent woman to prison.

They agreed to find out if Michael’s ringtone for Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver)  was “Twinkle, Twinkle” before deciding what to do-Trina thought Gio could help, so she invited him over.

Gio found their vague questions about the ringtone odd and wanted to know their intentions before agreeing, as he didn’t want to involve his little cousin.

Kai assured him they were trying to help clear Wiley’s mother-by playing the mutual secrets card, Trina eventually got Gio to set up a call between Michael and his son.
