Britney Spears Won’t Perform In The US Again For “Sensitive Reasons”

It must have been a heartbreaking blow for long-time Britney Spears fans to learn that the pop princess will be taking an indefinite hiatus from music. However, Spears seems to have loosened up a bit on that front, and has decided to return to a segment of her music career.

I’m sure it’s all joy everywhere with the news. That is, unless you’re a US-based Spears fans. Okay, maybe I’m getting ahead of myself. What did Spears say again? Hang on and we’ll get you up to speed in a jiffy, yeah?

Britney Spears Reveals She’s Been Healing Her Body Through Instagram Dances

Britney Spears may have quit music, but when it comes to dancing, she’s still pretty much up to her old tricks. Whether it’s doing complicated moves like a walking handstand or even some of her more awkward choreographies, the ‘Circus’ hitmaker is determined to keep her body agile.

Yup, this is happening even though she announced she’s got nothing to do with music anymore, and won’t be releasing music now or anytime in the future.

Whilst fans are no doubt hoping that this is another Nicki Minaj fib, Spears has already gone on to engage in a number of other things, like penning a bestselling memoir for one.

However, even though 2026 is just beginning, we’ve already had multiple back to back surprises from some of her favorite musicians. I mean, after ten years, Bruno Mars did decide to blow our minds by announcing an album and a tour. And now we’ve got a Spears tour thrown into the mix.

Writing on Instagram, the singer shared the happy news with her millions of followers, writing, “Sending this piano to my son this year!!! Interestingly enough, I dance on IG to heal things in my body that people have no idea about. Yup and it’s embarrassing sometimes… but I walked through the fire to save my life.”

She then made it clear that she will be going on a restricted tour, sharing, “I will never perform in the U.S. again because of extremely sensitive reasons but I hope to be sitting on a stool with a red rose in my hair, in a bun, performing with my son… in the UK and AUSTRALIA very soon.”

Whilst Bruno Mars announced his tour and mentioned names like Anderson .Paak, RAYE and Victoria Monet joining along for the ride, Spears named her younger son, who she promises is “a huge star and I’m so humbled to be in his presence!!! God speed, little man!!!”
