Vernon Dupree’s Lie

Beyond the Gates spoilers for Tuesday, January 13, reveal that Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) will return from her chemotherapy, only to find out Vernon’s been lying to her.

It looks like Anita will find out that Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) has tested positive for a genetic marker, and she’ll be upset.

Vernon tried to keep this from her as she has so much on her plate, but it looks like this won’t be a secret for much longer. Meanwhile, the rest of the Dupree family will rally around Dani, as she struggles with this news.

Elsewhere, Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix) will struggle, as well. While her test was negative, Nicole may feel guilty that her sister and her daughters are suffering so much.

Jacob Hawthorne’s Heart-To-Heart

Across town, Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) will have a heart-to-heart with his dad, Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik). Will he tell him about what’s going on with his wife, Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit), and her family?

Jacob is super worried about Naomi, as she’s been shutting down communication with her husband. Will this super couple be okay? Only time will tell.

Jordi Valisuso’s Debut

Finally, Jordi Valisuso will debut on the show as Grayson Perez, a lab technician at the hospital. In fact, he’ll take nurse, Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) on a date, and it looks like sparks will fly!

The two are shown at a bar in this week’s BTG preview, flirty, as Ashley tells him to come back to her place. Yikes! Will they hit the sheets … on their first date? Fans will have to tune in to find out!
