General Hospital Executive Confirms Tristan Rogers Tribute Is ComingGeneral Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that 2025 was a hard year for the ABC soap as it lost many iconic actors and characters.

From Leslie Charleson (Monica Quartermaine) to Chris Robinson (Rick Webber), and Denise Alexander (Lesley Webber), fans were also shocked over the loss of Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio), and then Anthony Geary (Luke Spencer).

Recently, ABC Executive Nathan Varni posted on social media that a “loving montage” was in the works for Geary, sometime in the future. Now there’s word of a tribute for both Rogers and his legendary character, Robert Scorpio.

Nathan Varni Confirms Tristan Rogers Tribute

Varni recently responded to a fan on the social media platform X. The GH viewer asked about the daytime drama offering a tribute in light of Roger’s passing.

Varni replied, “Since the character hasn’t passed away on screen, writers are working on a story to weave into the show later in 2026 for a proper send-off.”

Tristan Roger’s Last Appearance On GH

In July 2025, Rogers shocked fans when he appeared on canvas. He was a part of Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) exit from storylines. Sasha left Port Charles due to a threat to her daughter, Daisy Gilmore-Corinthos (Levi Clark Coughlin).

While fans knew the stalker was none other than Willow Tait Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), there was fear that she was being targeted by one of Michael Corinthos’s (Rory Gibson) or Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) enemies.

As such, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) took Sasha to her parents’ place, so she and Daisy could be with Robert and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms).

The day prior to the episode, Rogers’s friend and publicist, Anthony Turk, revealed that the 79-year-old actor had lung cancer. Rogers passed away on August 15, 2025.

While Rogers was best known for his role as Robert on GH, a part he originated in 1980 and played on-and-off over the years, the actor also played Colin Atkinson on The Young and the Restless from 2010 to 2012, then 2014 to 2017.

He also appeared on the soap in 2019; however, Rogers had a final appearance that aired on August 26, 2025, weeks after his passing. The show was filmed before Roger’s death and centered around flashbacks that Colin’s son, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), was having of his father’s final days.
