General Hospital Spoilers: If Willow Was Trained In Weapons, Why Didn’t She Finish Drew Off – Was He In On It?

General Hospital spoilers and updates pose the question, if Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) was trained in weapons, why didn’t she finish Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) off?

Is it a possibility that Drew was in on his shooting all along, and it was a plot to eliminate the problem of Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and frame him?

Michael Was Home From Germany And Pushing For Custody

When Drew was shot, Michael was home from the burn unit in Germany and pushing for custody of Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko).  

Willow was very upset and seemingly had a breakdown after finding out Drew had slept with her mother Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), and didn’t go through with their first wedding.

However, when Drew slept with Nina, Willow was still married to Michael, and there was no commitment between Drew and Willow.

Willow seems to be only using Drew and her  subsequent marriage to him as tools to get custody of her children back. But is that the whole story; or is it so they can’t testify against each other in court?

Whose Idea Was Shooting Drew-Really?

Considering the recent flashbacks of Willow in tears as she drove around in the rain that night, and her obvious pain over what she supposedly planned to do, whose idea was the shooting-really?

Willow did seem to be calm and methodical as she entered the Quartermaine mansion, put gloves on to unlock Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle) study and steal the gun.

Yet, as she drove to Drew’s house, she seemed to be conflicted-were all the tears a sign that she was forced into doing something she didn’t really want to do?

There’s a possibility that the shooting was all Drew’s idea, and she agreed with it in an effort to frame Michael for the crime, especially since Drew continues to push Michael as a suspect!

Willow Was Trained In Weapons While In The Cult, Plus She’s A Nurse And Knows Biology

It came out in the trial, thanks to the testimony of Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) that Willow went through weapons training while in the Dawn of Day cult.

Plus, she’s a nurse, and knows biology, so even though she shot Drew twice in the back, she would have known where to shoot him where he could be able to survive!

As far as Willow knew, she and Drew were alone in the house, and by the time her phone went off with the “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” ringtone, he was unconscious.

So, what other reason could there be for Willow to not finish Drew off and kill him with those two shots, other than shoot to temporarily disable, but not kill? Is Drew in on his own attempted murder, and the two of them working together to frame Michael?
