General Hospital Chris McKenna Hints At New Character Debut Coming

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Jack Brennan is dealing with a whole lot of drama lately, and it looks like there’s far more on the horizon.

The character’s portrayer, Chris McKenna, recently hopped on Instagram to update his fans on everything going on in his life, and also dropped a tease regarding a new GH character slated to debut on the ABC soap, very soon. CTS has all the details below.

Chris McKenna’s IG Live

McKenna recently did an Instagram Live session on Monday, January 12. He did it while driving away from the GH set.

He talked about how he “felt like crap” because his family battled a cold during the holiday season, and everyone got sick thanks to sweet little Baby Spencer passing on the germs.

With that said, McKenna’s wife called him the other day stating she thought she had another cold, and while McKenna thought that was impossible, here he is, a day later, sick again! He did sound a little congested, so here’s hoping he’s on the mend.

GH New Character Alert

McKenna noted in the IG Live that he “coughed his way through scenes” during recent filming. While he hopes fans won’t recognize his sickness when these future episodes air, he does believe they may notice.

McKenna added that the scenes he shot were “fun”, and he noted that he “obviously” can’t tell fans too much about said clips that were filmed.

However, McKenna could tell GH viewers that they took place in Brennan’s WSB office, they were with a “legacy” character – not Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) – and this person is someone he’s had scenes with before, but not many in the past. Maybe McKenna is referring to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)?

Then again, he also could be referring to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), so only time will tell!

Then McKenna adds he also filmed scenes with a “new character” who has yet to be introduced on the canvas, but who will appear on the show, “very soon”. Could this “new character” be the infamous “C” investor, working with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota)?
