General Hospital spoilers claim Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) are looking just slightly like hypocrites offended by what they perceive as injustice.
They withheld evidence from an attempted murder investigation all of this time thinking it would serve the outcome they wanted better keeping Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) off the PCPD’s radar and helping to protect her professional reputation.
They only divulged the truth when everything about Portia came out anyway. Why did they choose to go to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) the defendant’s attorney instead of the police? Once again, they were protecting themselves from becoming targets in the investigation.
Enough is Enough
With the possibility that Willow might be declared not guilty later this week looming, Trina and Kai might decide they can’t sit with this information any longer.
They went to a trustworthy adult and professional expecting her to do the right thing, and instead she advised them to be quiet.
Although she offered a disclaimer that she wasn’t saying so just for Willow Tait Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) benefit, they’re bound to have their doubts. Those doubts could lead them straight to the PCPD.
Willow’s World is Turned Upside Down
Willow isn’t so crazy that she doesn’t remember shooting Drew. In fact, it seems she remembers it quite vividly and isn’t even disturbed in the slightest by what she did. Maybe it’s because he lived. Maybe every move he makes that irks her reassures her that what she did wasn’t that wrong.
Maybe everyone else seemingly hating him too makes it easier to live with. Ultimately, she has convinced herself that anything she does in the name of protecting and being with her kids again is justified.
But the court isn’t likely to see it that way, especially if Trina and Kai’s confession leads police to look at the phone records just like Alexis did.
Alexis Explains Her Actions
This Friday, previews say Alexis is going to be left explaining herself. It’s likely this may have something to do with the fact that she knew the truth and instead of withdrawing from representing her client, Willow, she continued with closing arguments and said nothing.
Of course, we know she consulted with her own attorney, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), and decided to move forward out of concern for her relationship with Emily ‘Scout’ Cain (Cosette Abinante), but will that be enough to let her slide when the bar hears about what she’s done this time?
The reputational risk she just took by lying in court and representing a client she knew was guilty is bound to stick with her. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see if she finds any way around it.
