‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Recap Thursday, January 15: RJ Returns, Eric’s Risky Commitment, Katie Shocked

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Thursday, January 15, 2026. In today’s episode, RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) returns. Meanwhile, Eric Forrester (John McCook) offers to be Katie Logan Spencer’s (Heather Tom) lead designer.

RJ Forrester Returns

RJ walks down the hallway at Forrester Creations, leading everyone to gasp in shock. The young man interrupts Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) make-out session.

They are so happy he is home! Brooke wonders how this even happened as they weren’t expecting him. RJ explains that he got on a plane to surprise them. (Make sure to check out our WEEKLY B&B spoilers, here!)

The blonde wants to know if he’s sticking around. RJ doesn’t make forever plans. Brooke knows her son is all about the vibes. RJ confirms that he is here for today. That’s good enough for his mom.

RJ might consider sticking around since his parents are married again. That’s the only time they are truly happy, the young man says.

Ridge admits they are extremely happy together.RJ fills them in on his travels. Brooke asks about all the young ladies in his social media feed. RJ stays quiet.

They bring up Ridge saving Brooke’s life when she was drowning. RJ thanks his dad for that.

Ridge wants his son to come back to work and design at Forrester Creations. RJ will think about it but doesn’t want to step on any toes.

RJ just wishes Eric were still working there, it could be three generations of them together! Ridge is worried about his father’s health. RJ understands that.

Eric Forrester’s Commitment

At Logan, Katie is shocked by Eric’s generous offer. However, Katie doesn’t want to cause issues between Eric and Ridge.

The man says it’s his decision and BRIDGE can feel what they want. Eric is sure they will get over it eventually. Katie is overwhelmed with gratitude! Eric says he will be the lead designer on her team. Eric can take this one item off her shoulders.

Katie needs to work on a PR angle so people don’t think this is a family feud. They need to be careful. Ridge will be upset and so will Brooke, but they will get over it, Eric declares.

Eric isn’t doing anything long-term, but will help Katie get Logan up and running. Katie is okay with all of this and is just so thankful for his help. Eric is sure Logan will be a success. Then, he orders her to fire up the sewing machines!
