‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Recap Friday, January 16: Brooke Betrayed, Donna’s Secret, RJ’s Crush

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Friday, January 16, 2026. In today’s episode, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) makes a shocking discovery.

Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis) keeps a secret. Plus, RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) meets Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace).

RJ Forrester’s Discovery

At the office, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke are so happy that RJ is back in town. The timing is perfect because of all the changes Brooke is going through. (Make sure to check out our WEEKLY B&B spoilers, here!)

BRIDGE informs RJ about Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) wedding gift to Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom). RJ learns that Katie and Brooke are at war over a name.

As they chat, Electra interrupts. When RJ and Electra see each other, time stands still.

Electra Forrester’s Encounter

Ridge thinks it’s insane that they haven’t met until now. They have the same last name, but no relation because of the “Marone” situation.

RJ knows Electra’s work and she has made quite an impression on him. RJ helps her take off a necklace and will look it up. The young man says that her heart is safe with him.

Bill Spencer’s Intel

At Bill’s office, he talks to Katie about a lead designer. Katie might already have one. Bill is stunned when she says it’s Eric Forrester (John McCook)!

Katie didn’t even have to ask, he offered! Bill is a bit baffled but glad they can stick it to Ridge.

Bill suggests a media splash but Katie says it needs to stay quiet.

Brooke Logan Forrester Betrayed

Bill leaves and Brooke enters. The blonde starts whining about the Logan name. Katie refuses to change the name. They both want peace in the family.

Katie wonders if Brooke will be even less supportive. Brooke doesn’t want her sister to fail. Brooke admires her but is surprised when Katie announces she already has a lead designer.

Donna Logan Forrester Frets

Donna walks into the Logan office and is surprised to find Eric there. Eric fills her in, and Donna is speechless. Donna worries this could affect his relationship with Ridge.

Donna also warns that Eric will essentially be working under Bill. Eric doesn’t view it that way. The man also says that Brooke doesn’t own the name Logan any more than Forrester Creations owns him.

Donna likes seeing Eric excited, but worries about Brooke now. Eric tells her to keep this a secret. Eric says Ridge and Brooke put him out to pasture. They are going to get the shock of their lives!

Facing Brooke Logan Forrester

Eric goes into Katie’s office, where he faces Brooke. When Katie sees Eric, she says nothing but they exchange knowing glances. Brooke’s eyebrows arch up and her eyes widen as she puts the puzzle pieces together.
