‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Weekly Preview Video Jan 19-23: Mind Control Horror, Cryptic Offer, Violent Outburst, Celebration Turns Nasty

General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of January 19 tease Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) horrified, while her granddaughter, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) is worried. And over at the Quartermaine gatehouse, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is mad!

This Week On General Hospital – Anna’s Horrified!

Still captive, Anna is horrified as she’s awakened from a fitful sleep on the couch after receiving a phlebotomy from a nurse she hallucinated as Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

She noticed a lit cigarillo on the coffee table in front of her, and now she’s horrified as she shouts, “NO”! The voice of Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) has called out to her, telling her she should never be afraid of him-but is it a hallucination too, or is it real?

The mind control drugs she’s being given are definitely working, as Anna is in a nightmare world, caught between the past and the present.

Close friends and family are realizing she may not be on a WSB mission after all-but who will find her first and rescue her?

Emma’s Worried!

In the meantime, her granddaughter Emma goes to Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) for help-she tells him she’s starting to think that her grandma’s in trouble.

Nathan looks concerned as the two discuss the situation at the Port Charles Police Department. Emma had previously talked with her boyfriend Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) about her worries as well.

There are those who realize something’s off with the WSB mission story-Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) for one, although she has not yet taken action

. Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) also looked suspicious when Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) told him that “they’d lost Anna!”

Nina’s Up For A Celebration At Drew’s House

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is up for a celebration at Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) house, as she comes to the door holding a bottle of champagne.

He answers the door to her as she comes in, shouting, “Who wants to celebrate”? Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) was found not guilty at her trial, and the verdict is causing shockwaves throughout Port Charles, although her mother and Drew are happy.

Willow is smiling and Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) raises her hand towards her grandma. Nina comes through the door with the champagne, perhaps it’s a non-alcoholic type so Scout can have a glass too?

Sonny Makes A Cryptic Offer

In the meantime, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is with Michael and tells him he’s going to make sure he doesn’t go down for this-“this” being Drew’s shooting, since Willow’s been exonerated.

Michael still looks worried, and then the scene shifts to Sonny at the courthouse. He will make a cryptic offer to Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor).

Perhaps he’s going to suggest some other possibilities as to who would want to kill Drew. That could be over half the citizens of Port Charles, himself included, although of course he’s smarter than that-he already knows he’s a suspect!

Someone Tries To Slap The Sense Into Drew?

In the meantime, it looks like someone tried to slap the sense into Drew, as he’s now down on the floor by the coffee table, the bottle of champagne sitting on it! He is holding the side of his face in pain, like someone really gave him a wallop to the jaw!

Scout did have her hand out earlier as Nina entered the house, but she’s too short and not strong enough, although she may agree that someone needs to slap some sense into Dad!

Drew will give Nina a warning, and maybe whatever he says is egregious enough to earn him that well-deserved smackdown. However, it doesn’t look like a shiner’s coming up or any kind of bruise-but that’s certainly got to sting!

Michael’s Mad!

Meanwhile, at the Quartermaine mansion, we see Michael’s mad, and he’s beating up his former best friend and relative-in-law Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard)!

Perhaps Chase says exactly the wrong thing about the exoneration of Willow, or maybe even accuses his former bestie of the crime.

Chase is on suspension for being totally off base with his misplaced trust in his and Michael’s mutual ex-wife. Michael may not even be accused, but on the other hand, then again, he might. Even Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is conflicted over Michael’s possible guilt.

In The Meantime, Back At Drew’s House…

Back at Drew’s house, he and Willow are toasting and he’s fully recovered from the slap? Is there a setup being planned by the two of them?

It seems like both of them have an interest in Michael being prosecuted for the crime that Willow was revealed to have committed, although exonerated for.

Or, perhaps Drew just tripped over something and stumbled and hit his cheek-that cane is inconvenient sometimes. At least the bottle of champagne was obviously intact!
