Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Is Stefano Really Dead, Or Did Someone Fake The DNA Test?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates reveal Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) called Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) with the results from the DNA testing of the bones found in the crypt.

Rafe will tell EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) the bones are his father’s, but is Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) dead, or did someone fake the DNA test?

Susan Banks Feels The Phoenix’s Presence

Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) feels the Phoenix’s presence and has been for several months-she was quite disturbed when she told Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), and Marlena was disturbed as well.

Marlena was having nightmares about being Stefano’s queen of the night, and that hadn’t helped matters any. Susan was spending a good deal of time close to the portrait in the DiMera mansion and even she was creeped out-what could it mean?

And then there was the mysterious project going on in the secret lab of the new Tom Horton free clinic, which no one was revealing-except when Gwen Rizczech DiMera (Emily O’Brien) showed up.

By that time, dastardly doctor Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) also showed up, and was revealed to be working on a combo resurrection drug.

Bones Found In The DiMera Crypt During The DiMera Captivity, Now ID’D-Or Are They?

Bones were found in the DiMera crypt during the DiMera captivity when Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier) returned and was later killed by Rolf in Salem University Hospital. Rafe sent them to the ISA and now are identified as Stefano’s, and Rafe notifies EJ.

But the question is, are they really Stefano’s bones, or did someone fake the DNA test-Drew Donovan’s (Charles Shaughnessy) is always a possibility!

That’s Shane’s evil twin and he could be working with Dr. Rolf, and Dimitri Von Leuschner aka Agent Kyle Graham (Peter Porte) is back-he could be in on it too. Another DNA test of bones is in the works also, with Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) grave being dug up.

It’s Almost Time, Father

In a promo showing what was ahead in the summer of 2025 and beyond, and a fall preview there was a stasis tube shown.

There was a hand with a DiMera ring, and a voice that sounded like Tony or Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) saying “It’s almost time, father”.

Considering Stefano had been raised from the dead, or at least the brink of death before, might another incarnation of Stefano be about to show up again?

Since Rolf has now shown he can resurrect and regenerate rats by combining Versavix with his old resurrection formula, there is another possibility besides the DNA test being faked.

Might a new Stefano be regenerated from the bones that were found, in some sense a clone of the Phoenix?
