The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Is Matt Really In Jail, Or Is Victor Giving Him The Jordan Treatment?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates pose a crucial question; is Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) really in jail, or is he? Might Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) be giving Matt the Jordan (Colleen Zenk) treatment?

Did Victor Have A Jail Cell Built Under The New Newman Ranch House?

Viewers will remember how Victor held Jordan in a cell and more or less tortured her underneath the previous Newman Ranch house. Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) forced its removal to let the police deal with her-at the time.

Ultimately, Jordan died after Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) poisoned her “in self defense”. But as vehemently as Victor hated Jordan for how she hurt his family, stealing Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) and Cole’s baby and replacing her with a dead baby, would he hate Matt any less?

Why would Victor treat Matt any better than he treated Jordan in the cage-cell he had her in? Might it not make more “Victor sense” to treat Matt just as badly, or perhaps even worse-did Victor recreate the cage beneath the new mansion?

Detective Burrow Is Still In Genoa City-If Matt Is In Jail, Why Is He Still There?

Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen) is still in Genoa City-if Matt is in jail, why is he still there-crooked cop Annie Stewart (Catherine Kresge) was hauled off in handcuffs!

Burrow, still in town, will help Devon and Abby Winters (Bryton James, Melissa Ordway) in the search for the kidnapped Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Ethan Ray Clark).

Annie was probably extradited back to Los Angeles-wouldn’t have Matt been too, and Burrow be done in Genoa City, if Matt were truly in jail?

Another issue is Burrow’s out of his jurisdiction to do anything about Dominic’s kidnapping, unless he’s helping as a citizen and not conducting official business.

But if Matt’s not really in jail, he might be sticking around to find where he is and bring him back to Los Angeles-like he was originally.

Victor And His Family Have Been Harmed By Matt Clark Many More Times Than By Jordan!

Victor and his family have been harmed by Matt many more times than by Jordan, and another thing to consider is unlike Catherine Kresge, there’s never been a Roger Howarth exit announcement.

That can only mean the Matt storyline isn’t yet over, and Matt may be in “jail”, but not the jail he’s supposed to be in! Considering Victor recreated the ranch house like the original one, that means he may have put that cell back in the basement!

Might Victor be getting his revenge on Matt by giving him the Jordan treatment, torturing him like he’d tortured Nick Newman, (Joshua Morrow) Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Noah Newman (Lucas Adams)?

Matt Clark has been tormenting the Newmans since Sharon and Nick were in high school-and the “Jordan treatment” might be the only appropriate one in Victor’s eyes!
