‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers Weekly Update Feb 2-6: Debbie’s Secret Exposed, Todd Left Penniless, Kevin Spirals!

Coronation Street spoilers and updates for the week of February 2 tease Debbie Webster’s (Sue Devaney) secret is exposed, while Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) is left penniless! Plus, Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) spirals, Bernie Winter-Alahan (Jane Hazlegrove) is spooked, and Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances Brown) keeps secrets!

Debbie Readies Herself To Go To Prison

Debbie has mostly come to terms with the fact that she is likely going to prison, and she asks Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) to manage Chariot Square while she is away.

Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) is angry because he feels she has undermined him, thinking he would be the best choice for the job.

He feels guilty when he overhears Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) and Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) talking, realizing he has framed Debbie.

He also realizes that if he hadn’t been driving drunk, Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) might still be alive. Things get worse when Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) tells him that if his wife goes to prison, it will hasten her mental decline.

Debbie’s Secret Exposed

Carl decides to make amends and goes to see Debbie to confess that he was the one driving-she tells him she has always known and just wants to protect him.

He is puzzled, but then she reveals a huge secret-how will Carl react when he finds out that Debbie is his mother?-later in the week, before her court date, she is upset to discover that Carl’s keys to her flat have been left at the hotel reception with Ryan.

Heartbroken, she resolves to find her son-she pleads with him to go to court with her, saying it would mean everything to her to have his support. However, when it’s time for her to testify, he is nowhere to be found. Debbie learns her sentence, but how long will she be in prison?

Todd Is Left Penniless

Todd is concerned about how he will get through the day with only £10 in his pocket, especially with Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) visiting his mum in Doncaster.

Things get uncomfortable in the cafe when George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) realizes he has left his wallet behind and asks Todd to pay the bill.

With no other choice, Todd gives him his tenner and decides not to join George for a drink at the Rovers; even worse, Theo has chosen to stay overnight and Todd has no food.

Summer notices that there is nothing available and offers to go grocery shopping, while she sends a voice note to Theo to inform him that he has run out of money.

Later, when Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) visits the flat and asks him to pay the £10 he promised to Harry Platt (Joshua Leavy) for his sponsored walk, he loses his temper with her.

Bernie’s Spooked!

Bernie feels a sense of discomfort when Mal (Tim Treloar) arrives to handle some electrical repairs at the cafe flat, proposing an alternative to Roy Cropper (David Neillson). He declines her suggestion, stating that he owes Mal the job since he played a part in the collapse of his marriage.

She manages to whisper a discreet word, and he reassures her that he will keep their secret and will be out of her way once he completes his work at No. 16a.

However, the following day, Bernie finds herself with no choice but to accept Mal’s assistance during an especially hectic time at work.

Kevin Spirals!

Debbie organizes an intervention with Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor), Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine), Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine), and Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) in hopes of reaching Kevin. Although he’s angry, he reluctantly participates to prove he doesn’t require their assistance.

Meanwhile, back at the Webster residence, Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes) discovers the living room in disarray and the cupboards bare, prompting him to head back to school.

He approaches Abi and asks if he can stay with her for a few days to give his dad some breathing room, which devastates Kevin. He picks up an empty vodka bottle and just misses Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) before heading to the roof-neighbors watch as Abi follows him, trying to help him come down.

Jodie Keeps Secrets

Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) is resolute in uncovering the reasons behind Jodie’s strange behavior and successfully obtains a phone number for their father from one of his old friends, Bernard Bennett (Lewis Bennett).

However, unbeknownst to her, Jodie is eavesdropping and manages to contact Bernard first, requesting a favor. She quickly hops into Tim’s taxi, leaving Shona and David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) puzzled about her sudden departure.

Upon her return to No. 8, she ensures no one is around before retrieving something from her bag. What secrets are Jodie concealing?
