Beyond The Gates Comings & Goings Feb 2-6: Major Y&R Crossover Event, New Character Alert + More

Genoa City Takes Over!

CBS announced this past week that a major crossover storyline is coming, as seven characters from The Young and the Restless will be heading to Fairmont Crest.

In June, BTG fans should expect the arrival of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane Abbott (Susan Walters), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James), and Abby Newman-Abbott-Winters (Melissa Ordway). The GC players will be involved in a multi-episode storyline on Beyond the Gates.

New Character, New Drama

Meanwhile, Beyond the Gates spoilers hint that actress Cecilia Specht will join the soap as Dr. Lia Whitmore on Friday, February 13. Lia is inked in for a 20-episode arc that will have her on the canvas until May.

Lia’s storyline will center around news that shakes her, just as she’s about to head into the operating room. Her confidence will be blown, and she’ll question everything in her life. This arc will trigger a web of lies that draws in the Dupree family and others in the land of Fairmont Crest.

More Casting Notes

In addition, there’s a plethora of casting news for the week of February 2-6. Mona Wilson will be on the canvas as Karan Kendrick returns. Speaking of Mona, she’ll thank Randy Parker for coming to her rescue, so fans will also see Maurice P. Kerry in the days ahead, too.

Plus, Ellie Wang is back as Caroline, Bill Hamilton’s (Timon Kyle Durrett) assistant, and he’ll have something shocking to tell her.

Finally, the Fairmont Country Club gossip, Anastasia, played by Timeca M. Seretti, will return as she clashes with Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie).

Last week, BTG fans met Lance Salinger, played by Kovar McClure, along with his wife, Lolly Salinger, played by Mariana Novak. Lolly is a client of Vanessa McBride’s (Lauren Buglioli), and her husband wasn’t thrilled by this.

He confronted Vanessa, but then got a dire warning from Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) to stay away from the blonde, shortly after. Will fans see Lance and Lolly pop up again? Only time will tell.
