Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Katherine Kelly Lang Gets Personal About Her Past On B&B

The Bold and the Beautiful: Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan)The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that fans are loving the flashback episodes and the show pulled out all of the stops today when it replayed the very first episode of B&B! It was introduced by none other than Katherine Kelly Lang who has played Brooke Logan for 33 years. In fact, Lang has been with the show since day one—Eric Forrester (John McCook) is the only other current star who can say the same thing.

She recently talked to Australia’s Daily Telegraph about her character and her life.

When asked what it was like to debut on B&B the lovely and talented actress said, “It was magical. Everyone was so excited to be there and the scenes were incredible.”

“It felt like it started out with a bang. The vibration was really high.”

The main man in Brooke’s life has been Ridge Forrester, first played by Ronn Moss and now portrayed by Thorsten Kaye. But she has also been married to Ridge’s dad Eric Forrester of whom she says, “Working with John has been amazing since the beginning,” Lang says. “We have so much history.”

But Lang almost took a different route to stardom. “I wanted to be a jockey at first, then an Olympic equestrian,” she remembers.

Lang began work as a child actor but did not find it inspiring, “When I was acting as a kid, mostly in commercials, it wasn’t very enjoyable.”

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Lang Starred In The 1979 roller disco comedy Skatetown, U.S.A.

That all changed when Lang was cast in the film, Skatetown, the U.S.A. alongside Patrick Swayze. She played his sister in the movie and still has warm memories of the star who passed away in 2009. She recalls that he was, “incredible. Everyone was in awe of him. He came from the ballet world and had this amazing posture and way of walking because of his dancing. Everyone would just stare at him.”

B&B Spoilers – Lang Also Starred In Australia’s Version Of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

In 2019 Lang put her athleticism to the test when she joined the Australian version of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Her goal in doing so was to raise money for a cancer charity; her father died from colon cancer when she was 13.

What was the experience like for her? She made lasting friendships, saying, “Regardless of how it was in camp, we all love each other. Every time I’m in Australia, I try to see them.”
