Today on General Hospital – Justine And Jordan Discussed Sonny

On her way to yoga class, Justine ran into Jordan and asked the former police commissioner about some cold cases involving Sonny. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

Since Sonny had been questioned in many cases but only convicted once, Justine wondered if he had become the PCPD’s go-to suspect, often letting the real criminal escape, and if he wasn’t as bad as she had been led to think.

Jordan scoffed at Justine’s apparent sympathy for Sonny, warning her that he was not an innocent man.

She pointed out that it was easy to be charmed by Sonny, but it was also a serious mistake. And most especially if you got in the way of something he desired.

Jordan Gave Justine Advice

And there was one major thing that Justine thought Sonny would want from her. “Do you think he’s trying to use me to protect his son in Drew Cain’s shooting?”

Justine wondered. She went on to mention that there was inadmissible evidence in Drew’s shooting that made her doubt whether a case against Michael would even reach trial.

She stated that Sonny would have no influence over the D.A. office’s choice to prosecute Michael. Still, knowing how far Sonny would go to protect his children, Jordan advised her to do the opposite of whatever Sonny suggested.

Chase Overstepped

At Bobbie’s, Harrison  Chase (Josh Swickard) overheard Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) talking about her interview with Michael.

He pressed her for details, but she dodged the questions and left when Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) arrived. Back at the table, Chase thought Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) would support him, but she said he went too far.

When he remarked that everyone involved with Michael was related, she reminded him that he was as well and questioned why he couldn’t drop it.

They argued, and Brook Lynn accused him of being so focused on Michael that he missed other suspects.

Molly Talked To Her Father About Her Argument With Cody

In the diner, Molly shared with Ric about her argument with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) over her book. She complained that Cody wouldn’t have felt insulted if he hadn’t read her manuscript without asking.

Ric suggested that her words likely brought out Cody’s insecurities, and he advised Molly to make the first move to reconcile.

Molly replied that Ric should follow his own advice and contact Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), but he mentioned he had been rejected before and didn’t want to jeopardize their current friendship.

Molly Encouraged Her Dad to Try Again With Elizabeth

Molly then told her dad that she appreciated how Elizabeth recognized his potential, and maybe she could help him see it too.

Later, at the hospital, Liz noticed Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) with a lovely flower arrangement and was surprised to find out they were from Ric. He arrived and asked her to dinner, and she happily accepted.

Needless to say, Ric was pleased. With Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) no longer in town, maybe he’ll have more success.

At Miller & Davis, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) asked Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for help with a court order for a paternity test.

After revealing Portia’s pregnancy in court, Alexis didn’t want to force her into a test-Curtis, though disappointed, understood and asked if he could compel Portia to take one.

Alexis said he could, as long as it didn’t endanger the baby, but advised against it, saying it would complicate things and hurt their co-parenting.

Curtis felt stuck until he knew if the baby was his. He didn’t want to miss out on time with this baby like he did with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), since Portia hadn’t been honest then; Alexis suggested he talk to Portia first.

But when they joked about commuting from his cabin, she worried they were moving too fast-Isaiah reassured her he wasn’t having doubts and just wanted her happiness.

Later, Portia told Elizabeth she felt at peace with Isaiah and that this pregnancy was easier than her last with Trina, which had coincided with her divorce from Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews).

Things were tricky with Curtis, who wanted a paternity test, but she wanted to enjoy her pregnancy without stress.

Later, while Lucas was talking to Portia, Curtis showed up-Lucas overheard Curtis giving Portia a week to take the paternity test or face a court order.

She found the whole situation suspicious and wanted Kai to quit his internship, but he believed he needed to stay to ensure Drew was safe from Willow.

Just as Trina finished expressing her fears about Willow being dangerous and unpredictable, Willow came home.
